You and Me

Chapter 5

Santana arrived at Jenna's house at 7:00, a half hour early to help her set up for the Cheerios sleepover. Jenna's parents said they would hangout in their bedroom so that way all the girls could have their privacy on the middle floor. After Santana helped Jenna put out drinks and snacks and lay out pillows and blankets, Santana changed into her pajamas of short plaid shorts, and a black tank top.

Jenna was setting up music to play through the speaker when the doorbell rang.

"I'll get it," Santana said hopping off the couch.

Santana opened the door, revealing three Cheerios also dressed in their pajamas, with overnight bags in hands. The four of them walked back into the family room and made themselves comfortable while starting to chat. Santana loved hanging out with the Cheerios, she just preferred to hangout with the glee club more.

When the doorbell rang again, Jenna went to go get it. She came back with a couple more girls from the squad, Stella and Carly. It was around 7:05, and Santana assumed that Quinn and Brittany would arrive any minute. And she was right. A couple minutes later, Quinn and Brittany walked in after Jenna answered the door again. The two girls sat by Santana on the couch.

"Oooh Quinn Fabray in pajamas." Santana said just loud enough for only Quinn to hear. Quinn was wearing a blue oversized sweatshirt with a high schools name on it that Santana assumed was Quinn's old school, and short, loose grey shorts.

Quinn playfully shoved Santana in response. Within 15 minutes, the rest of the squad arrived and they were all sitting in a big clump and chatting. Somehow, they had all gotten on the topic of glee club and who everyone thought was the cutest boy. Most of the girls decided on Puck, but some of them said some of the other guys. Santana didn't really care about their answers until one of the girls asked Quinn who she thought was the cutest guy in glee club was.

Santana turns to look at Quinn, curious about her answer. If Quinn had been asked who she thought the cutest person in glee club was, she would have said Santana. But she was asked the cutest guy. She obviously thought some of them were cute, but she didn't have a crush on any of them like she does Santana. So Quinn had to think about it.

"Sam," Quinn says.

Santana doesn't really react. She starts to wonder if Quinn was only into guys because in actuality, Santana had no idea who Quinn was into. They had talked about Santana being gay, but they never had a conversation about Quinn's sexuality.

After a while of more chatting and gossiping and eating, Jenna had suggested that they all watch a movie. Collectively, they decided on Mean Girls. Because who doesn't love that movie?!

With Quinn right beside her, Santana wanted to put her arm around her as she did the last time they watched a movie together. But she didn't know if that was a good idea to do in front of the other girls. Even though some of the other girls were cuddling as well, Santana decided against it.

When the movie ended, it was around 12:30, and it was obvious a lot of the girls were getting tired. Some of them had already fallen asleep. But the girls who were still somewhat awake, voted to turn on another movie. Mean Girls 2. A lot of the girls didn't even know that there was a second one, so they decided on that one. Santana hated the second Mean Girls movie, so she didn't pay much attention to it.

However, she did notice that a little bit after it started, Brittany rested her head on Santana's shoulder. And soon after, she had fallen asleep on her. Santana peaked over to the other side and saw Quinn curled up in a ball with her eyes closed. She looked adorable. But Santana had been sitting in the same spot for hours and her back was starting to hurt and needed to stand up.
