Chapter 17

Quinn woke up with a smile on her face. And it only got bigger as she realized she was in Santana's embrace, who was sleeping peacefully behind her. She carefully turned around in Santana's arms to get a look at her beautiful girlfriend, and let out a content sigh, thinking to herself how lucky she is.

"How long are you planning on staring?" Santana mumbled with her eyes closed.

Quinn opened her eyes wide before bashfully smiling. "How'd you know?"

Santana smiled. "I can literally feel your gaze."

"In that case, good morning," Quinn says as she leans up to place a kiss on Santana's forehead.

Santana keeps her eyes closed as she pulls Quinn closer. "Morning babe. What time is it?"

Quinn's heart flutters at the name and Santana's morning voice. She reaches around Santana to grab her phone to check the time. Quinn gasps, "It's 1:00pm..."

Santana laughs and opens her eyes. "Is it actually? That's so funny."

Quinn laughs too. "We slept so late."

"I guess someone was really worn out from a couple rounds of Latina love..." Santana smirks.

"As much I'd love to come up with a snarky comment back, you're right." Quinn blushes as she opens her phone and checks the glee girls group chat. "Tina suggested we all go to dinner together before Britts house tonight. Everyone's in, we just still need to answer."

Santana nods and reaches behind herself for her phone to respond to the group chat.

santana: q and I will be there

quinn: yeah! and sorry we took so long to reply, we just woke up!!

mercedes: omg they're alive!!!

tina: you guys must have fallen asleep late....

brittany: oh they definitely did😏

marley: oh god that means Santana is gonna tell me every. single. detail.

santana: don't act like you don't love it, rose. it's always the highlight of your day

brittany: mine too!

santana: britt's too

marley: anyway.... where are we going for dinner tonight?

sugar: breadstix, duh!

rachel: shall we say breadstix at 6:00?

tina: yay! I'm excited!

quinn: see you guys later!!

Quinn and Santana turned their phones off and decided to spend the rest of the day talking, cuddling and watching Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2 until it was time to get ready for their night. Quinn changed into her clothes that she packed the day before, which was jeans, a white top and a maroon cardigan. Santana went with leggings and a slightly oversized off the shoulder grey sweater, and was standing in front of her mirror putting her hair up in a high pony.

"I love your hair like that." Quinn said as she joined Santana at the mirror. "The only time you put your hair up is when we have to wear our Cheerios uniforms. You look really cute."

Santana smiled and turned to face Quinn. "Thank you. And you look beautiful." She pecked Quinn's lips and Quinn smiled down at her feet. "What?" Santana asked her.

"I just don't think I'm ever going to get used to that... You kissing me." Quinn blushed.

Santana placed her hands on Quinn's hips. "Am I that good of a kisser?" She teased.
