It's now Friday, and Santana had spent the week not acting like herself. She was more quiet, and closed off. But as the week went on, it started to get better. Santana felt really bad that so many people were worried about her, but like she said, feeling better was going to take some time. Everyone in the glee club sensed something was up and tried to help her out and check on her, which she really appreciated. As a thank you, she texted the glee group chat during the day and asked them if they all wanted to come to her house Saturday night, which they all excitedly accepted.Santana really was starting to feel better, she just needed a couple days to get back on track. Quinn still came to the auditorium every day during 8th, and they only talked briefly, which Santana also felt really bad about. She really likes Quinn, and she knows Quinn likes her, but she hasn't been hanging out with her at all. She wanted to apologize for that. Santana knew that telling Quinn she has feelings for her, taking her out on a date, and then spending the week acting the way she did wasn't cool. She knows Quinn understands she had stuff going on, but she also would understand if Quinn was a little upset with her.
It's 8th period, and Santana was sitting on a stool on the stage, waiting for Quinn to come in. She had a little apology/thank you for caring song prepared. Santana snapped her head up when she heard the door auditorium door open, revealing Quinn, in her Cheerios uniform.
"Hi," Quinn said with a smile as she walked down the aisle.
"Hey, Fabray." Santana smiled back. "Wanna sit?" Santana gestured with her head for Quinn to sit in the front row.
Quinn looked confused but sat.
"Listen Quinn, I feel bad that I've been so weird this week. I might have had some stuff going on but I shouldn't have been so to myself about it. So as a little apology for that, and as a thank you for being patient and understanding, I wanted to sing you something." Santana pauses and smiles. "It's not High School Musical, but it's close. It's Camp Rock 2, which I figured you'd like and I think we should watch those movies next."
Quinn grins from the audience and Santana plays the music to 'You're My Favorite Song'.
"Words don't come easy without a melody
I'm always thinking in terms of do-re-mi
I should be hiking, swimming, laughing with you
Instead I'm all out of tuneBut what you don't know
You lift me off the ground
You're inspiration, you helped me find myself
Just like a baseline in half-time
You hold down the groove
That's why I'm counting on youAnd if I heard you on the radio
I'd never wanna change a single note
It's what I'm trying to say all along
You're my favorite songI'm in a session writing tracks
You've got another class to teach
And then rehearsal with a band
You're always one step out of reach
I'm looking for some harmony
With you it comes so naturally
You helped me find the right keyAnd when I hear you on the radio
I'd never wanna change a single note
It's what I tried to say all along
You're my favorite songMy favorite song
And when I hear you on the radio
I'd never wanna change a single note
It's what I tried to say all alongYou're my favorite song
You're my favorite song"Santana and Quinn beam at each other, and Quinn gets up and walks up the stage stairs until she reaches Santana.
