You have never rushed to go anywhere quicker. Police and ambulances? What could've been so bad to the point where there are fucking police and ambulances?

Hopping into the uber and making sure you have everything you needed from Carsons before you left made you realize that you have his hoodie on which is really comfortable..

Skip to when you arrive at the apartment building

Police cars surround the building and when you get out of the uber you start running as fast as you can towards the door. A cop stops you in your tracks saying something but you can't quite hear anything considering the sirens and the running thoughts in your brain are consuming you whole.

You duck under the police tape still sprinting past those who tell you to stop.

You decide not to take the elevator even though you live on the fourth floor. You just need to be at the apartment at this very moment.

Finally after four flights of stairs you've reached your room.

You can see Madi bawling her eyes out, but where is Abby?

As you approach Madi, you say the only thing you've been thinking this whole time, "Madi please talk to me, tell me what happened? Where's Abby?".

Madi can barely form a sentence through all the sniffles and sobs but she tells you one thing, "Y/n, I came home from getting food for all of us and when i  tried to go to the bathroom before I ate, I found Abby laying there lifeless in the bathtub".

After hearing what Madi said you were immediately frozen and truly unaware of what is happening. Yet the only thing you can feel is your body going limp.

*SLAM*

Your limp body falls to the ground.

*two hours later*

You open your eyes and are in an area that you're unfamiliar with until you see Madi hovering over you fanning your face.

"What happened. Where am I madi?". You say trying to get up but your body feels locked in place.

"After I told you what happened to Abby, you fainted and fell on the ground, so I took you to our neighbors room and they let you rest in here.".

You can see how Madi's eyes are swollen from crying so hard.

Holding back tears you said, "Madi what are we going to do. Did they tell you how she died?".

Madi "They said it was a drug overdose. Apparently she committed when I left to go get food.".

You can barely form a sentence after hearing she committed. She was always the life of a party, but no seeing how much she drank and how she let people walk all over her, it sort of made sense that this would happen.

"I would've never though of her to do this. Especially now since we finally moved out to LA.".

"I know. This is terrible.". Madi breaks out into another cry and you go beside her hugging her, while also shedding a lot of tears.

So much happened in the span of that whole day that you've had no time to check your phone, so you decide to pick it up and see your notifications.
