You already knew that the two had been split up and about everything that had happened to them so you'd never think that there was a possibility of them getting back together, especially now since you're quite literally moved in with him.

"Last night?". They were with each other last night?

What could they have done? There's no way Carson would do this to you at a time like this, yet your thoughts and mind wanders off into not so good places when it comes to Carson and another girl.

Infuriated, you slowly get up trying to not wake Carson and head to the balcony to ease your mind and get some fresh air.

The cool breeze that goes through your hair and the stars that are out, somehow make everything at ease.

You've always loved the stars and space. It fascinates you and sometimes you wish you could be up there.

Carson's pov

I remember falling asleep in y/n's arms but she's not here anymore. Maybe she went to the kitchen for some food?

I check my phone and I see a text from Kate.

"Oh shit.". Y/n probably saw that message and thought the worst from it. This can't be good.

Getting out of bed after being super comfortable was hard but i'd do anything right now to make sure that y/n's not mad at me.

After searching the whole house I seriously can't find y/n.

The one place I haven't checked is the balcony.

Seeing y/n standing there is seriously like lookin at the most gorgeous thing i've ever seen.

"What happened y/n?".

Y/n pov

Still sitting outside, stargazing, you hear a familiar voice trickle behind you.

"What happened y/n?".

It's Carson.

Out of everyone, Carson's the person you'd least like to be talking to right now.

You give a small glare to Carson and turn back to look at the stars.

"Is it about that text? Listen nothing happened between me and Kate. We didn't do anything and I wouldn't do that to you, you know that y/n." Carson let's out a big sigh after saying that.

"Oh really? I feel like we've been talking for a good while now, I moved in with you, and suddenly Kate just comes back into the picture?" Carson tries to talk after you said that but you immediately cut him off.

"Don't even say a word. I really thought I meant something to you and the fact that I might just be your fucking rebound for Kate makes me sick to my stomach. I'm going to bed".

After saying that you get up, tears running down your face, and push Carson out of the way before you make your way back to your shared room with him.

As you were leaving you saw tears also rolling down Carson's face.

You don't want to be overreacting like this but because of your previous relationship, you have major trust issues and you can't help but take it out on him.

You make your way to your room and lay down and cry for about 30 minutes until you get a stray text message from your phone.
