You totally forgot to call Carson. He's probably worried sick, but considering what all happened you couldn't really help the fact that you couldn't call him earlier.

Seeing that now you're doing better and you're not totally unconscious, you decide to call Carson.

"Y/n! I'm so glad you called. Is everything okay? What happened?". Carson sounds distressed and the way his voice is breaking when he is asking you all this lets you know that he really cares.

Holding back tears, you manage to let him know everything. "Well, as soon as I got to the apartment I found out that my friend that is also my roommate had committed suicide earlier today. My roommate Madi called the police and they checked her pulse but there was nothing left. When Madi told me, I fainted and was knocked out for a couple of hours 'till now.".

There is a huge wave of silence after what you've just said. Considering this to be a really touchy subject, Carson doesn't want to say anything to make your day even worse.

"Y/n. I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm sure things will get better soon and I want you to know that i'm here for you anytime. Do you want to come over? I can make you food because I wanna make sure you eat tonight and you can bring your other roommate. Y'all could crash in the guest bedroom if you'd like.".

You've never met a genuine person such as Carson before. The fact that he wants to make sure you eat and just feel better in general.

"Yeah that sounds nice Carson. I'll let Madi know. I don't think I can bare staying in our apartment right now. Hold on one second.".

You set down the phone walking over to where Madi is and ask her if she'd like to come with you to Carson's place.

Madi's jaw drops. "Wait Carson? As in callmecarson?".

You cock an eyebrow. "Yeah? Why that face?".

"He's friends with my boyfriend cooper!!".

Cooper.. Hmm.

WAIT. THATS THE BLONDE THAT SKATES AND GREETED YOU AT THE DOOR!

"Are you thinking what i'm thinking y/n?". Madi smiles deeply for the first time today and it makes you feel so much better.

"Hell yeah.".

As you pick up the phone you tell Carson the news that you found out that Madi and Cooper are dating.

"This makes everything so easy! Madi can stay with Cooper and you can stay with me! If you'd like of course.". Carson clearly respects your boundaries which makes for a real gentleman.

You smile while you say, "That sounds great. I'm gonna pack some stuff up to stay for a while, is that okay?".

Carson chuckles and says, "Perfect. I'll be here.".

Frankly, you'd be happy to be with Carson all the time, and this will help with the whole Abby situation.

*Skip to an hour later*

You and Madi are both packing your suitcases to stay over at Carson's. This is the best you've felt yet tonight.

Things will get better, and this is just what you needed to help that.

You and Madi both finish packing and you immediately send out a text to Carson
