𝐴𝑙𝑙 𝐼 𝑤𝑎𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑑 𝑤𝑎𝑠 𝑦𝑜𝑢 || 𝐵𝑦𝑙𝑒𝑟

The Mall

Will woke up to a welcoming Saturday sunshine blooming on his rosy cheeks. He groaned as he opened his eyes and pushed himself off of the bed, walking over to his desk that was covered in drawings of D&D and some even of Michael Wheeler. He gently picked up the drawings and hid them under is bed. He sat down at his art desk and started sketching the outline of, you guessed it, Mike Wheeler. Will had had a huge crush on this particular boy since kindergarten. They met on the swings, Mike initiated the friendship. Will remembered back to when times were simpler. When there was no Jane Hopper or Max Mayfield. Don't get him wrong, Will loved Max and Jane. He just wished that they could have the party back to how it was before the whole upside down thing.

"Will? It's Mike. Do you copy? Over-" Mike instructed the party said 'Over' once they had finished talking. If you didn't, no doubt he would call you out and correct you.
Will chirped up from his desk and jumped on the floor, turning on the Walkie - Talkie.
"Hey Mike. It's Will. I copy, Over-" Will replied, smiling of course.
"Hey uh, I was wandering if you'd like to go to the mall with us later? Over-"
"Oh uh, sure! I'd love to! What time?? Over-" Wills cheeks glowed as he hasn't seen Mike in a while. Neither had they had a proper conversation since.... the fight...
"Is 1pm good? Over-"
"Uh, sure! I'm free then. Who's coming exactly? Over-"
"Uhh, me obviously, Max, Dustin, Lucas and Jane. Why? Over-" Mike seemed confused. Did it matter??
"No reason. Over-"
Of course Jane was coming. I'm so stupid for even asking that. I just, thought he meant the O-G party.. Will thought to himself.
"Well, I gotta go. Jane's just arrived!! See you at 1 Will! Over and out-" Wills thoughts were interrupted by Mike saying his goodbyes.
"Yeah. See you at 1..." Will turned off the walkie-talkie without saying 'Over and Out' he just assumed Mike had stopped listening. He didn't. "Damnit Will, You forgot the over and out" Mike chuckled to himself, half whispering.
