Chapter 4

Jase POV

Everyone walked over to where Mali and I were standing.

“What are you doing here?” I asked mum and dad

“Calum told us about your try outs” mum said

“Heard you are going away?” I said

“Um… yes” dad said

“Why can’t I come with you?” I asked

“How do you know?” mum asked

“That’s for me to know” I said

“It’s for work” mum said

“And Mali and Cal job is not work” I said

“Um...” dad tried to say

“You know what forget it, forget everything about me you clearly don’t care about me” I said with anger

“Jasey” mum said

“No why is always me who has to suffer, ever since I was little I was the one who could not do this or go to this, but you let Cal and Mali do anything they wanted” I say

“Please don’t go there” dad says

“No, I think you need to hear me out for once” I say

“Jase calm down you are making a scene” Calum says

“Have you got be kidding me, the world needs to know that you Mr Rock star does not have a perfect life” I said with anger in my voice

“Calum that was pretty stupid to say” Mali says

“What it’s true everybody is looking” Cal defended

“Jasey let’s get you home” Mali said to me

I started walking home with Mali, and Calum and my parents walking slowly behind us keeping their distance.

“When do you and Calum leave?” I asked

“Sunday” Mali said

“I don’t know who to go with?” I said

“You could always do a split” Mali says

“Yeah” I say

“How long will I be away for?” I asked

“A while basically until you leave for Brazil” Mali says

“What about school?”

“Tutor” Mali says

When we go home I ran up to my room and took a shower and changed into some clean clothes. I was just sitting on my bed on my phone, when I heard a knock on my door. I told them to come in thinking it was Calum.

I looked up but it wasn’t Calum it was Mali

 “I need to tell you something” Mali says
