Chapter 30

Sho Force HQ was a place for meetings , training , and instruction. Sho Force Academy is attached to the HQ and is a place for students to learn how to become crime fighters and make Kiri a better place to be in. To be welcomed into this Academy students must either have parents that are Sho Force members or are recommended by a captain. A few months went by and Shizz allowed Aviva to become captain of Squad 3 with Lynn as her second in command. Aviva sent recommendations for Dyl, Jay, and Fuji, however after reviewing the "Cam Case" Shizz decided to allow all three of them to attend Sho Force Academy with the addition of Aiden and Marcus.

After the funeral, Sydney was the new owner of Rose's home. At first it was usually quiet around the house except for the occasional crying coming from Sydney's room, but eventually the family started working on themselves again. Dyl continued his training and school work grinding even harder than he did before. He quit going to the arcade so he could focus more. He only texted Jay and Fuji every now and then to see how they were doing but after a few months, Fuji called him. "BROOO! YOU HAVE TO COME TO THE ARCADE RIGHT NOW!!" Fuji said with excitement. "Okay bro calm down. I'll call Jay and we will be there soon." Dyl said. Dyl and Jay made their way to the arcade and Fuji was standing outside of it. "What's up Fuji?" Jay said. "Watch.." Fuji said. He took a deep breath. Suddenly his body started changing. Feathers appeared all over his body. He began to shrink as wings sprouted from where his arms used to be. "You're an eagle!" Dyl said. "Yeah isn't it cool!?" Fuji asked as he flew around. "So you can shapeshift into animals? That's dope!" Jay said. "Oh... Ummm .. I can only turn into an eagle." Fuji said as he changed back. Jay and Dyl started laughing. "That's it? Just an eagle?" Dyl said as tears fell from his eyes from laughing too hard. "This man's sho lets him become a chicken wing!" Jay said. They both laughed even harder. Fuji started pouting. "Whatever. I'm sure it'll be useful." he said with his head down. "Hey guys! I have some good news!" Aviva shouted as Squad 3 walked towards the arcade. "I've become the captain of Squad 3. Lynn is now my second in command and this lady to my right is Yuri. She's our trainee." Aviva said. Yuri smiled. "It's nice meeting you all." she said softly. Fuji smiled and his heart started racing. He went over towards Yuri and reached for her hand. "It's ... nice meeting you too." Fuji said nervously. Lynn slapped his hand away. "We have some important news!" Lynn said excitedly. "What is it?" Dyl asked. "As a captain that means I can recommend people for the Sho Force Academy. I recommended you three and the boss accepted you!" Aviva said with a smile. "LETS GOOO" Jay shouted. The group of boys got hype. "When do we start?" Dyl asked. "Tomorrow! I'll pick all three of you up in the morning so make sure you get plenty of rest tonight." Aviva said. Aviva's transmitter started buzzing. She clicked a button and Squad 3's Force Truck pulled up. "We have a call! I'll see you guys in the morning!" Aviva said. Squad 3 pulled off to handle business. "This is it boys! This is my way of paying Rose back for everything. I owe her so much .." Dyl said. "No need to feel down about it. She is resting now. We will definitely put on a show for her during this war!" Jay said. "I can't wait to train! You guys might have sho that are cooler than mine .. but can y'all beat me in our favorite fighting game though?" Fuji asked. Dyl laughed. "Fuji you're the worst fighting game player on the planet!" Jay said while laughing. "Oh I'll take that as a challenge!" Fuji said. They went into the arcade and played games while eating pizza until it got dark. During the car ride back home Dyl talked while the other two listened. "You two have been my friends since my life started getting crazy. Jay you helped me in school and Fuji you were someone I could talk to and have fun with. Rose gave me a place to call home and helped me train. I will never forget her kindness, and I will protect you both no matter what. I don't know much about war but I do know that it will be dangerous. Let's all get as strong as we can. Let's fight to protect. Lets fight to become stronger. Let's fight for our families, friends, and Kiri!" Dyl said. "DAMN RIGHT!!" Jay and Fuji said together.
