Chapter 45

"CANCELED!? WHAT DOES HE MEAN CANCELED!?" someone yelled. "WHATS GOING ON!?" someone else yelled. Soon the crowd was in an uproar. Dyl looked over to his left but Aviva was no longer there. The 5 captains of the Sho Force were now standing on the stage behind Shizz. "Is that.. Zane!?" Jay asked. "NO WAY!! FLAMIN HOT LULU??!!!" Fuji yelled. "Why are all the captains here in one place?" Dyl asked. The crowd started going crazy. "Settle down. Settle down." Shizz said. The crowd was still rowdy. One of the captains raised his hand. "WIND GUST!" he yelled. A huge swirling gust of wind flew from his hand. The raging sound of the wind silenced the crowd. "The Wind Demon Nate... It's rare to see him in person." Dyl said quietly. "Thank you. Now that I have your attention I shall explain everything that is about to happen. When I say school is canceled that means all educational classes will be temporarily gone. This Academy will only be focused on battle education and sho manifesting. This is how we will prepare for this upcoming war. All of your parents have been contacted but of course it is ultimately your decision as young adults to fight for your country. The training here can become harsh but it's only to ensure your safety in the real war. War means blood will be shed, bonds will be broken and lives will be lost. If you are no longer interested in this Academy then the paperwork to drop out is over at the back double doors and you may leave." Shizz said. About half of the gymnasium began running from the bleachers. "I love this place but I'm not putting my life on the line!" someone said. "Yeah. When I came here I signed up to learn how to defend myself not a whole country!" someone else said. After about half an hour the gymnasium was silent again. Dyl looked around. Aiden, Marcus, Jay and Fuji were still sitting near him. "This is it. This is our chance." Dyl thought to himself. "We lost about half of our students. I assume that the rest of you are ready for the grind." Shizz said. He got down on one knee. The captains of the Sho Force that were standing behind him also got down on their knees. "Th- Thank you all. You are all strong individuals. Dangerous times are ahead of us and yet despite your youth.. all of you have remained brave. Thank you." Shizz said. Shizz and the captains stood up and the crowd rose to their feet yelling. A huge picture of Rose appeared on the floor of the gym. Some people in the crowd started whispering. Some of the older students started crying. Tears fell down Dyl's face. "Not only will we fight for our country.. BUT WE WILL FIGHT FOR ROSE!" Shizz yelled. The crowd roared. "You will be split into 5 groups and train hard with the captains for a month. Afterwards you will be tested to see if you have what it takes to be a part of Kiri's army!" Shizz said. The crowd went wild. Dyl was shocked. He was not expecting this at all. It was all so sudden. "All of your names and sho will be written down on your way out of the door and you will be placed under a specific captain. I know that this is a lot to take in so you have the rest of today to rest. Again.. I want to thank you all." Shizz said. He walked away with tears in his eyes. Rose's face faded away and the gym floor returned to normal as everyone rushed towards the doors. Dyl, Jay and Fuji filled out their forms at the door and walked outside. "Wow that was intense." Fuji said. "I'm shocked, scared and excited at the same time!" Jay said. "It's time to surpass our limits. For Rose. Now let's find Aviva.. she's our ride." Dyl said. As they were walking they saw Aviva talking to Lynn and Yuri. "They made us fill out forms as well. Does that mean we won't be under you anymore?" Yuri asked. "That's not fair! As second in command I shouldn't have to be in another group! We are being treated like newbies!" Lynn said. She started to pout. "I'm sure Shizz has his reasons. We will do as we are told and make the best of it. Until then we are still Squad 3 and our duties remain the same." Aviva said. "Hey Aviva do you think you could give us a ride?" Dyl said as he and his friends walked over. "Of course! Lynn and Yuri I'll see you two later." Aviva said. She guided the boys to the Force Truck. "Are you all going home?" Aviva asked as they all got in. The boys looked at each other. "ARCADE!" the three of them said together. "I should've known." Aviva said as she shook her head.

"We have located them." Scott said. "This is the closest we've come to finding out who was controlling my dad. Hitori thank you." Gilbert said. Hitori put his blind fold on. "It's my pleasure. Now let's go." Hitori said. Scott created a portal and all three of them walked in. They found themselves in a hideout. A woman was sitting on a throne and had two men by her sides. One of the men looked familiar to Gilbert. "Who are you and why are you here?" the woman asked. "My name is Gilbert. I'm searching for the person responsible for my father's death." he said firmly. "I've killed plenty of people. Could've been me. Could've been someone else." the woman said. Her and the men began laughing. "I'm not here to play around." Gilbert said. Scott created a portal and Gilbert dashed through it. He appeared in front of the familiar man and punched him. The guy disappeared but was suddenly standing behind Gilbert. "How!?" Gilbert thought to himself. "That was just one of my clones." Jack said with a grin.
