Jaden's P˟˚.O˟˚.V˟˚

When we arrived back at the Sway House, Josh instantly stormed up the stairs and into our room.
Yes, I say our room. Everyone shares a room with their best friend, so I got lucky.

"Josh? Was it something I said?"
I slowly walked up the stairs and to the door or our shared bedroom. I herd muffled sobs, but I didn't know why.

"Josh? Are you okay?"
I slowly knocked on the door.
"Go away Jaden."
He said,
"Can you at least tell me what the hell is wrong?!"
I snapped, opening the door to see a broken Josh curled up in a ball on our bed.
"You wouldn't understand, okay?!"
He yelled, looking up at me. I just stood there, staring at him. He looked so sad, and I hated seeing him like this.
"Please, Josh. Tell me what's wrong"
I said, slowly approaching him
"I can't. Not yet. ʸᵒᵘ ʷᵒⁿᵗ ᵍᵉᵗ ⁱᵗ ᵃⁿʸʷᵃʸˢ. ⁱᵗˢ ʲᵒᵗ ˡⁱᵏᵉ ʸᵒᵘʳ-"
He whispered the last part to himself and stood up
"Josh. I'm not letting you leave without telling me what's wrong."
I stood in the door way, blocking his exit.
"Get out of the way, Jaden! Let me out!"
He pushed at me but it was no use. I was stronger than him, so there was nothing he could do.
"Jaden, it's complicated. You won't understand."
He shook his head and sat at the edge of the bed.
"I may not, but I can try."
I said, locking the door and sitting next to him.
"Jaden, I'm sorry. I'm not ready yet. I just can't."
A tear rolled down his cheek as he sighed.
"Okay, but at least give me a hug."
I said, opening my arms for him.
"Fine,"
He rolled his eyes playfully and fell into my arms. His hugs were the best.

"Hey! What are you guys doing in there?! If Josh can't walk tomorrow,"
Bryce yelled from the other side of the door.
I quickly jumped up and unlocked the door
"For your information, we are just friends. And, I would probably help him walk."
I smirked at Josh as he turned a dark red
"I hate you guys!"
He yelled,
"Heheeheh, well I'm gonna head to bed."
Bryce yawned and walked to his room. He shared a room with Griffin, but there were two beds instead of one.
"Alright, ima go shower."
I said, grabbing a towel and walking into the bathroom that was connected to Josh and I's room.
"M'kay. I'm gonna change and go to sleep then."
Josh nodded and walked over to his dresser.
