A/N: This is my super old next gen I wrote in 2018. My current one is a mess which is why I'm posting this one (also it's been already written- so have it while I work on 7, 8, 9, and probably 6 again)

The names I came up with are really bad, but you'll know whose kids they are.

Jai's Pov

Today was my first day of high school. I was super stoked about it because it sounded a bazillion times better than middle school which still isn't a very high number, because it's still school after all. But I'd like my freedom, please. I looked across from me at my older sister. She was in her musical world now, and overlord forbid that you actually try to talk to her in that state. I sighed. If only I had a nice older sister who would actually talk with me about things. We were barely even a year apart! But apparently, one year is all it takes to make the divide between us a mile apart.

"Well well well. If it isn't Millie Walker." A voice says.

Millie took off a side of her headphones. "And if it isn't Luke Smith," Millie snarkily replied back. I kept on walking. I didn't need to hear the feud that they've had since forever.

I continued walking down the road until I saw a bunch of news vans at one house in particular. "Really!?" I half-shout to myself in disbelief and ran to the house as fast as I could. It hardly took me ten seconds to get to her house and it was pretty far away when I last saw it. The situation was even worse up close. Lots of reporters' voices could be heard, all trying to ask questions and all starting them with the same name. The same person was trying to push past the sea.

   "Lulano..." I heard.

"Do you think...." another one started.

"Lulano Garmadon..." I finally heard enough.

"Okay, interview over," I say in a strong voice, throwing myself into the crowd. "It's very obvious that she doesn't want to answer any questions. She has a life outside of fame y'know!" I grabbed her wrist and pulled her out of that mess.

"Thanks," Lulano told me and gave me a grateful smile.

"N-no problem." I stuttered. We started walking the short distance to the end of the road.

"I wasn't expecting that much of a mess," she said, waving her hand back at the now dispersed mess.

"Well, what do you expect when you're the daughter of the famous green slash golden ninja," I joked with her.

"But it's only my first day of high school. Shouldn't be that big of a deal." Lulano thrust her arms in front of her.

"Geez, obsessed much?" I rhetorically ask. We both laugh as we get to the end of our road. I saw Rocky already there, playing a game on his phone. He acknowledges us with a wave and went back to his phone. This was normal. I turn back to Lulano who was looking around.

"Oh, that's right!" Lulano said aloud, probably to herself.

   "Hm?" I ask.

"Oh, it's just that I remembered Zora's getting upgrades today." She shrugged.  "No biggie."

"Oh yeah, Zora's a robot," I said, remembering that Zane and Pixal were famous for building such a human-like android. They were also famous for some other things. Well, Zane was.

   "Android," Lulano corrected me.

"Heh heh, right," I blushed and nervously rubbed the back of my head. There was an awkward silence that followed.
