I sighed, thinking of Kirishima's phrase. "The manly way."

I thought to myself as I hid behind a tree. Great. Everything is going exactly to plan.

"Do you think Mitsuki-san wo-" I heard Midoriya talk.

"Don't call my mum by her name," Bakugo snarled in response.

Seeing Midoriya wear the clothes I bought for him made my heart thump a little.

"Oh. Sorry." A mumbled reply came out. "Anyway, uhm, I was sayin-"

"Hey, Deku," Bakugo had a frown on his face. He opened his mouth and then paused. "Nevermind. What were you gonna say?"

"I was thinking your mum could use some new clothes." Midoriya sighed. "I-"

"I had that idea long ago," Bakugo snorted and grabbed Midoriya's hood, yanking him along. He was startled and struggled to walk along, his eyes clouded with a fear he might trip and fall.

Seeing that made me want to run out and send a flying punch, or do anything so Midoriya wouldn't need to have trouble walking. The boiling poison that seeped into my veins wanted to do that more than I did.

I breathed deeply. That would be the worst possible way to show I was spying on them, through physical assault.

They went to a nearby clothing shop. I adjusted my sunglasses, tucked my hair in my hood more, stuck my hands in the pocket and secretly tagged along with them.

I cautiously looked around at my surroundings, checking to see if anyone was suspicious of me or if I could hide anywhere. The plan backfired as I collided into a rack of clothes on sale.

I immediately ducked into the pile of clothes I had knocked over, my heart pumping anxiety into my blood. I peeked through some of the clothes that were still hung up and relief crashed onto my entire being when I saw Midoriya and Bakugo weren't even looking over.

I heard a growl, and I froze. I felt my stomach rumble too. Oh shit.

"Eh heh, sorry," Midoriya meekly apologised. "I... I didn't eat lunch."

Relief. The anxiety this stupid spying mission is giving me is more than I bargained for. What are the chances our stomachs would grumble at the same time?

"Stupid Deku," Bakugo grumbled. He grabbed Midoriya's wrist and yanked him out of the store. "Let's grab sushi or something."

This time I nearly lost control as I stood up abruptly, knocking the entire rack over on to it's side. I glared at Bakugo as he and Midoriya disappeared into the Saturday crowd, pieces of clothing draped over my shoulder and head.
