#unmotivated
I noticed that the first battle was about to start, so I got up and ran to the stands. There were specifically blocked-off areas for the classes of UA. I walked all the way down the 1-A section and sat in the front row. I looked down at the cement platform that was being used as the battling grounds. Hitoshi and Izuku were facing each other, not moving a muscle. I saw their mouths moving, 'Oh no, don't respond to him!' I thought.
Too late.
Izuku had started to run at Hitoshi and stopped in his tracks. His eyes went white and he started back towards the edge. 'I don't want to pick favorites, but Izu-chan literally got a quirk to get here!' I kept a close watch on his eyes, hoping that the color would return and, in turn, his control.
His eyes slowly faded back to green just as he was about to step over the line. He sent some power into the next step he took and blew Hitoshi back. The sleep-deprived teen was clearly taken aback, the greenette had the same expression. 'He looks as if he was surprised that he did that.' I went on to list all of the possibilities of what could've happened.
While I was thinking, Izuku walked towards Hitoshi. The purple-haired boy tried everything to get the greenette to talk, but nothing worked. Izu-chan started to push Hitoshi to the end of the arena, but Hitoshi punched him right in the face. This snapped me out of my trance, I looked down to see Izuku with a bloody nose, but he was still fighting. Hitoshi punched Izuku's broken fingers, which sent him falling to the ground in pain. Hitoshi tried pushed him out of the ring while he was on the ground, but Izuku flipped him over and the purple-haired boy landed out of bounds.
"Shinsou is out of bounds!" Midnight announced. "Midoriya advances to the next round."
The whole crowd went up in cheers, save for the entire of general studies.
"YEAH, GO IZUKU!!!" I cheered! He looked up at me and we locked eyes. I saw the proudness, the bravery, the courage, but above all, I saw the exhaustion. I couldn't blame him, Hitoshi's quirk is very strong. It would take a lot out of you to snap out of it.
~~~~A few minutes later~~~~
I got up from my seat to go check on Izuku. As I walked down the hall to the nurse's office, I started to zone out. I was quickly brought back to the present by walking into a tall figure. I looked up to see a mess of purple hair and sleep-deprived eyes looking back at me.
"Oh, Hitoshi! You did great!" I cheered. "You almost got him! If he hadn't had that burst of strength, you would've won! That would've been so cool!"
"Thanks, Y/n," he said, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Well, I gotta go see Izuku before my match with Mina. Bye!" I waved and ran off.
"Bye,"
I kept running until I ran into someone else. This time I hit them with so much force that I fell.
"Ahh! Sorry, Y/n! I didn't see you there!" I looked up to see the familiar greenette reaching out his not-broken hand for me to grab.
"Oh, I was just coming to see how you were doing," I said, grabbing his hand.
"I'm doing fine, but you should be getting ready for your battle. C'mon, let's go!" He ran off with me in tow. I eventually found my footing and ran alongside him. As we ran through the halls, I was taken back to when we were young. We always ran through the woods together, especially after Katsuki bullied him. We would run through the bushes and around the trees, our worries slowly melting away as the sun shone on our faces.
We had done that until my family sent me off to the training camp along with Keigo. You see, Keigo had gone to a training camp in America when he was 11, so it only made sense that I would go once I was 11 as well. I only had enough time to tell my friends that I was leaving before I was sent off. There were all kinds of training there, street fights, underwater training, and many others.
