Your first day of school went fine. You met some interesting people and made good friends. Well, for now they weren't quite your friends yet but you hoped they would be in time!
One person you met was named Gundam. You related to him a lot because you both had rodents as pets.
You told him about your guinea pig at your cabin, and he had a concerned expression on his face.
"Use caution when keeping a singular guinea pig, fiend. Those creatures require partnership of their same species," he boomed in his deep voice. You nodded, shaking out your bad thoughts.
"I know. This one is just a loner, I guess. Like me, haha!" You attempted to make a joke, but Gundam either didn't find it funny or didn't catch it.
That night, you realized that he definitely didn't think the joke was funny because, well, it isn't.
