It was dark, the moon high and the stars low. It was just during the middle of the night roughly around seven hours ago. All of the warriors where just finishing up their last chores before heading to bed. General Shepard was heading towards his room, Katt stalking him with her eyes cold. Almost passing by her Katt snagged his attention.

"I can't believe you did that." Katt remarked.

"Did what?" Shepard asked pausing in his tracks.

"You know exactly what you did. How could you get rid of your apprentice like that, especially out in front of everyone where the whole world could hear!?" Katt said angrily.

"Ma'am please calm yourself. It was either now or never. You know as well as I do that a quirkless kit could never be a warrior." General Shepard remarked starting to get wired up.

"A warrior with no power is not a myth, there has been several occasions of the rare abnormalities turning into one of the best warriors out there. You were only using that as an excuse! How could you even do her like that?" Katt shouted.

"I had to do what I've done." Shepard growled.

"And if you didn't?" Katt asked.

"I- " Shepard began with wide eyes, looking off to the side he had no idea what to say.

"It would have made no difference." Shepard finally said narrowing his eyes.

"And yet you call yourself a warrior? A warrior does not disregard one of its apprentices because of a disability, they cherish it and help them through it. You cannot call yourself a great mentor after that." Katt implied.

"Did you see what she did on the court!? She abandoned her teammates, she vividly attacked one of our warriors, she took off her safety gear, she broke the warrior code many times!" Shepard shouted pointing towards the course.

"She did not abandon her team her team abandoned her! I've seen how they cooperate, they don't want anything to do with her and you know it! She tried to protect them even after they left her, she saw a friend in danger and her instincts kicked in and that's why she bit him. A true warrior puts others first, and gives everything they got in protecting the ones who need to be saved!" Katt said.

"But they-" Shepard tried to speak before Katt cut him off.

"Silence! You told her she could train to be a warrior and you lied! You still down on her even though she is a high grade student on the physicals. As well as being the first in seven years to even reach the diamond. Most don't even find the first hidden door. Doesn't that make you even the least bit proud of her? She is an Alidor for goodness sake, a treasure to all the clans. Yet you still hate on her for being a half blood. It doesn't matter if she was born from two different clans. Blood may tell ones past but blood will not tell ones future. You're not so much of a good warrior, or mentor. You're a fool, and made one of yourself." Katt said before walking away with hard fast paws.

Shepard looked at the ground before eyeing back on Katt with an ashamed look.

"Wait! I will give her another chance!" Shepard said.

Katt paused, not looking at him.

"Doesn't mean you can forget what you've done." Katt said before walking off into her guest stay room.

Leaving General Shepard outside he put a paw on his face and shook his head slowly.

"Iye, iye, iyeee." He muttered.

Taking in a breath of the soothing cool air he looked upon the full moon. Sighing he dropped his eyes to the ground. Pausing for just a moment, a flash of gold light shined behind him. Floating specks of gold dust sparkled from a golden ram whom stood behind Shepard. His young spirit animal. Shepard let his breath go and spoke.
