Todoroki woke up to the gentle patter of rain
on his roof and thunder rumbling from far away. He pushed his fluffly blankets off, immediately feeling the warmth of sleep slipping away. He swung his feet over the side of the bed and rubbed his eyes. He stood up, his bare feet pressing softly against the wooden floor and walked towards the balcony.

Todoroki peered out over the balcony, his eyes took in the bright colours squeezing through the fluffly whitish-grey clouds. The scent of rain hung in the air as he watched the blue-aquatic sky darken and the colours fade away as morning fully arrived. The mist thickened and the unmistakable roll of thunder growled. It didn't take long until the husky colour faded. Rain splattered against the window. He sighed and went back into his room and got ready to go to school.

"Class, today we would be having a transfer student," Todoroki's homeroom teacher stated.

A boy with ash-blonde hair entered the room. The class was filled with murmurs and whispers. The boy had bright, red crimson eyes. He was not even smiling.
