I'm on my way out of the office after a long day of work, a long day that will continue when I get home. My boss gave me so much work that I couldn't finish so now I have to get it done by morning. I have had such a terrible day. My colleague, Josh, is such a Jerk. He is constantly trying to one-up everyone and prove how much better he is. He chose me as his target today. He would breathe down my neck as I worked, reading every word I wrote for my article.

Just as I was opening the front door, someone dashed in front of me. They didn't even say anything. They just pushed past me. This was the final straw. Before they could clear the threshold, I slammed the door forward more so that it hit them hard enough to push them forward.

The man turned around after he regained his balance and I realized it was Josh. That made me feel a bit better about my day.

"What was that for?!" Josh yelled back. "It was for being a jerk!" I shouted at him as I took a step closer.

Before he could respond I walked past him with a smirk on my face. My day suddenly wasn't that bad after all.

A/N: Again, sorry this one's short. I really liked this idea and I think it turned out well.
