It had been a few days since the party, it was now Saturday and Steve had just woken up from a nightmare about the civil war. He got out of bed and decided to go for a solo run, like almost every morning ever. While jogging through the empty 5am streets of Manhattan, Steve's mind kept returning to the first time he met Peter, or, Spider-Man rather.

"You got heart, kid. Where you from?" Steve asked after dropping the air gate bridge on Peter.

"Queens." He struggled, holding up the bridge.

Before Steve ran away, he cocked his head and said, "Brooklyn."

Steve didn't know why he kept thinking of this, but one way or another it led him to thinking about how similar he and Peter are. They both had hard lives before getting their 'enhanced abilities'. Both lost people close to them more than once. Both have the same strive to always to the good or right thing. Both have big hearts. Both see the good in people. No matter what anyone says or does, not even if they take away their suit/shield or rights, they both continue to fight for what they know is best or what they believe in.

'Oh my god. Didn't think of it like that before.' Steve thought before clearing his mind once more.

Harley was woken up very unpleasantly by a jolt of his bed and a scream, to which he freaked out and screamed too. It was still dark in the room, but that didn't stop Harley from feeling the shape re-adjust itself next to him.

"What time is it?" He groaned, rubbing his eyes.

"Ten past nine." Peter replied.

"Then why did you scare me to the land of the awake?!" Harley half shouted smacking Peter in the head with his pillow.

Peter smiled in the dark, "HAPPY PRANK WARS!" He screeched. Thanks to his slightly more heightened eyesight, Peter could see Harley's eyes widen twice their original size.

"I'm going to CRUSH you!"

"Oh, it's on." Peter's eyes narrowed.

The boys laughed and made their way down to the common room kitchen for breakfast. Everyone else was already downstairs and eyeing each other up, the kids, Hope, Laura and Pepper were ignoring them, and Alex was just sitting confused at the island. Dr. Strange, T'Challa, Rhodey, the Guardians and Carol were all away, but Shuri had come for the event.

Peter sat down next to Alex at the island while Harley went to get himself some coffee, "Ready for war fam?" he asked.

Tony sat across from them, "Oh yeah."

"The question is, are you ready?" Shuri asked in her dense accent.

Peter smirked, "More than you know princess."

"Just don't ruin my furniture." Pepper ordered.

"What are you guys talking about?" Alex finally asked.

Harley was about to answer, but Clint jumped from the vents and into a seat next to Tony-who spilt his coffee and cursed Clint-and started talking, sparing Harley.

"It's a tradition. Prank War is only held once a year and lasts until the other team folds. It's also the only time when we get to wreak havoc on each other without getting in trouble by Pepper, Laura or Hope. The children do not participate, and neither will you. Sorry, you're too new." Clint explained.

"Okay, sounds fair." Alex replied.

Laura walked over and put her hands on Clint's shoulders. "While you are having your battle, Hope and I are taking the kids out. Alex has chosen to watch your war."
