Time to start another chapter.........and end another

It fits perfectly, I never imagined that I'd ever be wearing this. It feel so unreal. When I stand in the mirror I feel choked up and don't know what to think. What if he doesn't wanna be with me tomorrow? What if he wakes up and sees all my flaws and realizes that he doesn't love me anymore. I can feel butterflies when I look at my ring. He loves me, through thick and thin he's been there for me. I've been down for him.

Since day one, he was all I could think about even with the distance between us in those years I went away , I never let a day go by and didn't miss his lips kiss and touch. No other man had ever come close. The shop assistant came over and adjusted d my dress and I came out of my fantasy. Her name was Melissa, my sisters name is also melissa. M" so how do you like the fit and style? ". Me" its perfect, I love it ". M" ok then let's ring you up and send you on your way ". I walked into the dressing room and changed into my clothes again.

My phone rang and I looked it was Shannon. S" where are you? ". Me" just got my dress". S" hurry up and pay and come out side ". Me" your outside?". S" come find out ". He hung up and i paid for my dress and took it in hand. As I stepped out the door, I looked and seen his smile. S" you ready? ". Me" yes ". We got in the car and drove off.

Me" where are we going? ". S" you'll see ". He was up to something. Soon, we pulled into the parking lot of the airport. Ok I guess we are gonna fly somewhere, but where? He grabbed out bags and my hand and led me inside. Our tickets were taken and before I got a peek at the location where we were headed, he put his hands around my eyes and laughed. S' ah ah no peeking ". I kissed his sweet paw and didn't ask any questions.

He let me see finally she we sat down in our seats. S" you nervous? ". Me" not really? ". I laid my head on his shoulder and felt him kiss my head. I drifted off and felt my hand entwine into his. His warm touch always made me feel so safe and happy. A dream took me into a sweet fantasy, one that I had wished for, for a very long time. I was in a small village in Italy, I could see lots of small kids running around, I swore I could see a small boy who looked just like Shannon. It wasn't him, it couldn't be. He looked to see me watching him and ran up to me. His smile was so sweet, it could make anyone melt into a puddle of goo.

Boy" I'm shannon, wanna play with me? ". I laughed and said " sure what do you wanna play? ". And then another child ran up to me and hit the little boys arm and said " come on, lets go home ". She looked like me? How could this be? Me" what's you name if I may ask? ". I leaned down and she said " Julie ". Me" that's my name! You look like me too ". She smiled and said " I am you, I have to tell you something ". Now my mind was curious. I sqauted down and she got by my ear and said " daddy said he loves you and he heard everything you said while you came to visit him ". And as she backed away she grabbed Shannon's hand and I looked up and there in front of me, stood my father. I felt like I was gonna collapse. He looked straight at me & I finally I heard him speak " hello my sweet daughter, I missed you ". He opened his arms and I ran straight into him.

He held me tight and I laid my head on his shoulder and heard him say " I love you ". I squeezed him tighter and said " I love you to dad ". We held each other and I felt like I was five years old and had my father back. We looked at each other and I took the chance and said " I forgive you ". He kissed my cheek and said " I'm sorry I hurt you, I'm so sorry ". I hugged him again and not another word was said.

I felt my shoulder being shaken and I opened my eyes and see Shannon looking at me. S" you ok? ". Me" yea..... Yea I'm ok ". He touched my face and I guess i was crying in my sleep he kissed my cheek and said " you said I love you to dad and when I looked at you I see tears, you sure your ok? ". I laid my head back and said " I had a dream about my dad , he said he loved me ". Shannon leaned in and kissed me I hear him say " I am happy you finally get to hear him say those words , that makes me happy ". The pilot comes over head and says " we will be landing in Greece , please stay seated and leave your seat belt on thank you". I look at Shannon and he grins " surprise! ". He flew us to Greece, to get married. I felt like the luckiest girl in the world. His heart never ceased to constantly amaze me. It was my treasure.
