The Seven Dons

It was a beautiful night, the moon reflected off the limitless waves and the stars bounced about on the clean canvas.

A yacht appeared to be still within the solitude of the sea, only sharing the space with oxygen and the beautiful waves of the night.

On the inside, it appeared like there was a dining party where only the most exclusive individuals in the world accepted invitations to.

The 12th Division found themselves within the somewhat crowded ballroom as well, having dressed perfectly for the occasion. It was Maria with Yuki, Jiro, and Patti.

Patti wore a red dress and had her hair out for the first time in a long time. Maria also wore a dress, but the shades were similar to the night sky as opposed to pacific rose. Yuki and Jiro were wearing tuxedos that made one look for the gray.

"Why am I here..." Patti said, clearly not comfortable in her outfit.

She'd rather be in sweats and a hoodie, but that would make her stick out like a sour thumb in this setting.

"You know why and you look great Captain." Maria said.

Everyone around her thought so, well, everyone besides her that is.

"I hate these clothes... I feel exposed..." Patti said.

"Yeah, I don't like my hair much either..." Yuki said as he looked up at his gelled and slicked-back hair.

"Deal with it guys, we're here for a mission." Jiro said.

He didn't mind the gel and slicked back hairstyle that he and Yuki shared.

"Well said Jiro, now let's go and keep an eye on Ishikawa." Maria said.

Meanwhile, Don Ishikawa and his son were both dressed appropriately for this occasion as well. Kugo wore a more eccentric golden suit that appeared like a custom design from the most exclusive designers in the world. His father, on the other hand, didn't wear anything as bourgeois as his son, in preference for a more classical look.

"Pop, so where is this meetin' takin' place?" Kugo asked.

"I was told it would be on the upper deck."

"Alright, let's head there then."

"Ishikawa, is that you?!" Someone said from behind both Ishikawa and Kugo.

It was none other than Sofia's father, Charles Genovese, the don of the Genovese Crime Family. Charles wore a tan suit that only made him look older than what he was.

"Charles, nice seeing you, how is your boy?" Ishikawa asked.

"Thanks for asking but he's right here, you can ask him yourself." Charles said.

"Sup." Vito said.

Vito wore a white suit, he appeared more like a handsome protagonist from a spy novel as opposed to a notorious mobster.

"So he made it to hand then?" Ishikawa asked.

"Yes, I'm proud of him."

"Wish pop would be proud of me for getting to hand..." Kugo said under his breath.

"Enough, Kugo. Let's just figure out where this meeting will be." Ishikawa said.

This wasn't his first time on this yacht, but with the massive crowd in the ballroom, it was almost predictable to get lost.

"Oh, I know where that is Goketsu, just follow me." Charles said.

"Sure..."

"So, how's your kids Goketsu?"

"Fine... yours?"

"Well, Vito is here but my Sofia is great. Thanks for asking."

"Vito, are you married yet?" Ishikawa asked.

"Nah, but I'm workin on it..." Vito said.

"At least you're working on it. Kugo here won't even make me proud to try." Ishikawa replied.

"Pop, we talked about this. My job with the family is more important. I'm not worrying 'bout tying the knot anytime soon."

"Looks like this is it." Vito said.

Charles opens the double doors to this room, and they are greeted by all the other dons sitting in this meeting room.

"You two finally made it." The don of the White crime family said.

He had a clean-shaven face, showing off his masculine and handsome melanin face. He also had sapphire eyes that bounced towards the door as he spoke.

The other don's sat at a long wooden table as their hand's stood behind them.

"Alright, let's get started then, shall we." Charles said before sitting himself at the head of the table. Ishikawa then sits in a vacant chair on the left side of the table.

"Now. We all know why we're here right?" Charles said.

"Isn't it about what's happening in Fuyu?" Don Kemono asked.

She appeared less like an actual mob boss and more like an exclusive socialite. She had black straight hair and brown eyes. She wore a black sleek dress and a fur coat over it as she sat with her arms crossed, clearly, she didn't care to be here, to begin with.

"Yes, we all came here to ask you, Ishikawa." White said.

"Well, I don't know what you want me to say." Ishikawa said.

"We just want an explanation on what's going on over there." Charles said.

That damn bastard... Trying to be my friend before just to turn his back on me..., Ishikawa thought.

"I'm still trying to understand your reasoning to all of this, Ishikawa." Don Westman said.

He had a top hat on even though they were indoors currently and didn't appear intimidating at all.

Meanwhile, just outside the meeting room, Yuki and Maria found themselves eavesdropping on the conversation, peeking in through a window on the door in the process.

"What do you think they are talking about in there..." Yuki said.

"It has to be about the recent events in Fuyu... Why else would they call this meeting during these events in Fuyu." Maria said.

"I'm not involved with that..." Ishikawa said to the remaining dons who questioned him.

"You're kidding right?" White asked.

"You're saying you don't know anything about this?" Kemono asked.

"I doubt that Goketsu. Something of this magnitude happening right in your backyard and you know nothing? Hell, even we know about it and we don't even live in Fuyu." Charles said, even having the courage to call Ishikawa by his first name in the process.

"Correct." Ishikawa said.

"This is bullshit. He's clearly lying. This is not only a danger to his family but ours as well. It's selfish, to say the least. And he sits there with that smug look on his face and expects us to believe this shit..." Don Ruko said.

Don Ruko was clearly overweight for his size, and with his age, it didn't make his appearance very appealing. He had blonde hair that was dead and pushed back, along with blue eyes.

"You sit here and accuse me of something, yet you have no proof that I'm in any way involved with this." Ishikawa said.

"Charles, since you're basically the head here, shouldn't you deliberate this with more aggression?" White asked.

"Alright. Let's give him the benefit of the doubt. Please at least tell us the truth, Goketsu, you must at least know who's behind this." Charles said.

"I told you already..." Ishikawa said.

I should put a bullet in this asshole's smug face for lying to us..., Ruko thought as the sight of Ishikawa left disgust on his face.

Don't worry, you all don't have shit on me, you can sit here and have a tantrum like children all you want, my plans are still in place and even this make up meeting won't stop it..., Ishikawa thought.
