Meanwhile, Yuki's group found themselves just outside the Fuyu morgue. They have all dressed appropriately, clearly representing the IJA with sleek official jackets.
They entered after taking a taxi to their location and didn't waste any time to meet with the coroner. They all began following the coroner to the mystery body of the assassin.
"What were the Injuries exactly?" Yuki asked.
Yuki didn't wait for the right time to start asking questions, instead he decided to start working without the pleasantries.
"Well, he had multiple injuries... But I thought you knew this already?" The coroner said.
"No, that is why we're here." Yuki said.
"Oh, well the fatal injury was a deep cut down his pectoral abdomen all the way to his inner hip. It appears that he didn't really put up a fight though." The coroner said as they entered the mortuary.
The room was spotless from wall to wall, each draw shined off the florescent lights that hung from the ceiling as the reflection blurred into the floor.
"Here we are, you may see the injuries for yourself." The coroner said.
The coroner pulled open draw no. 4, which kept the assassin's body inside.
The man was as pale as paper as the room itself was quite cold. His body was almost covered in tattoos. The coroner put on gloves before continuing his demonstration.
"You can see the large incision which cut through deep and even reached the sternum and the rib cage as it traveled across." The coroner said as he pointed at the large gash on the assassin's stomach.
Even though the body was firm, surprisingly, there was no sense of odor. It's as if they've been refurbished even though they remained as lively as the lights that reflected off their pale skin.
"There is also a smaller incision on the left side of his neck." The coroner said.
He pressed firmly on the small slice on the side of the assassin's neck in display for the agents.
"Wouldn't that have been the fatal blow?" Yuki asked.
Yuki was quite the natural at this investigation process, jumping in right away without fear of the cold waters.
"That is what I thought when I first saw it too, but upon examination, I found out he was still alive after that blow." The coroner said.
"Guys, what do you think?" Yuki asked.
"He clearly is involved in some type of gang by the looks of all the tattoos." Jiro said.
It was a surprise that he's even helping right now, especially after being a mute the entire trip here. Whatever he was torturing himself with still clearly resided in the tomb with him for the time being.
"He's part of the Ishikawa family." Patti said.
The tattoos looked familiar enough for her to identify their association. This was easily distinguishable for an agent of her stature.
"The what?" Yuki asked.
"You can tell by the river tattoo on his left pec, which is what was also slashed through by the fatal blow." Patti said, pointing to the flowing river tattoo placed on his chest.
"What is the Ishikawa family, some type of petty gang in Fuyu?" Yuki asked.
"No, Doc here knows what it is, he does work here after all." Patti said.
