Meanwhile, Jiro and Patti remained in the ballroom as they watched people begin to panic and head for the exits, which were boats pulling beside the yacht.
"What the hell is going on?" Jiro asked.
"Let's go..." Patti said, then led Jiro towards the source of this commotion.
The don of the Dokagan family found her escape route as well. They are at the edge of the ship and they are accompanied by some of their gang members too. Dokagan looks over and a speedboat approaches the ship.
"Boss! We're here!" A man shouted from the speedboat.
"There is a war coming soon and I don't want to be involved..." Dokagan said to her hand, who was also a woman as they appeared somewhat identical.
"I'd expect every other Family to do the same... The Genovese Family isn't the number one for nothing..."
Whoever is behind this is one crazy son of a bitch..., Dokagan thought.
Most of the crime families on the yacht evacuated shortly thereafter, all except the Genovese family.
Patti & Jiro didn't take too long to find the conference room.
"What the hell happened..." Patti said as they focus on the huge hole made in the wall.
"Where are they?" Jiro asked.
"That's a good question..." Patti said as she stepped further into the room, looking at the huge hole made within the right wall.
Patti gets closer to the hole that is in the wall.
"Someone made this from inside the room... But why?" Patti said before looking around the room.
She eventually located the reason, finding Charles Genovese's body on the floor, which was shocking. Who was bold enough to kill the don of the most powerful family in the seven?
What the hell happened here... That's... That's Charles Genovese..., Patti thought as she stared at Charles' lifeless body that leaned against the north wall of the room.
Then suddenly Maria and Yuki walk by the hole carrying the lifeless body of Vito.
"Patti?!" Maria shouted, catching Patti by surprise as her back was turned to the hole.
Patti steps back from the surprise and draws her weapon, eventually realizing that the scare was just a friendly.
"Don't scare me like that..." Patti said.
"There you guys are. What's going on here?" Jiro asked.
"Does anyone here know the sana technique?!" Yuki asked.
"Lay him down on the table." Patti said before Yuki and Maria do just that.
Patti rips off Vito's shirt quickly and looks at the injuries done to his body.
"Damn they got him good..." Patti said.
"I barely saw him too..." Maria said, commenting on the man behind this assault.
"I still can't believe this happened..." Yuki said.
I'm so lost right now..., Jiro thought.
Now probably wasn't the best time to start asking questions. Patti presses her hand against the wound that cut through Vito like swiss cheese.
He lost a lot of blood... The best I can do now is stop the bleeding but that won't heal the damage already done, sana will only save him time..., Patti thought before using her sana technique on the wound.
The sana technique was the most advanced of the five rai techniques, and by the looks of it, it appeared that way as well. A blue aura emanated around Patti's hand as she placed it gently on the crater left in Vito's chest.
"What happened here?" Patti asked, it was clear she was an expert in multitasking.
"Charles Genovese... was killed..." Maria said.
"Nothing good can come of this..." Patti said.
"We don't know who would do something this crazy..." Maria said.
"We need to leave now." Patti said, then finished using her sana technique on Vito.
"Jiro, come help me pick him up." Yuki said.
"Ok." Jiro said, then thought, What is going on... Who is this guy anyway...
Yuki and Jiro pick up Vito and now have him over their shoulders.
"We need to find the Genovese Family members." Patti said.
The Genovese family members never left the main deck, panicking and looking around for their lead members on the ballroom floor.
"Where is the boss?!"
"Everyone spread out, we can't leave without him!"
"Hey! We need your help!" Patti shouted at them, grabbing their attention in the process.
They laid eyes on Patti and instantly recognized Vito over Yuki and Jiro's shoulders.
"Vito?!"
"What the hell happened?! Where's the boss at?!"
"He's gone. We did what we could for Vito." Patti said to the henchmen.
"He's... He's gone?"
"You're joking right?"
"We don't have time for this, I know you have a boat coming, Vito needs medical attention now." Patti said.
"We can't leave without the boss!"
"We don't have time!!" Patti reaffirmed.
"Ok..." The man said before his group grabbed Vito from Yuki and Jiro and headed towards a boat that came for the Genovese family.
"This can't get any worse..." Patti said.
She realized the shit that the 12th division was in. Not only are they working on a case about an attempted assassination on a royal member of the Fuyu royal household, but now they find themselves in the eye of the storm.
Discovering the don of the Genovese family dead doesn't really help their current amount of shit. And somehow, she can't help but think all of this is related.
The Ishikawa family left the yacht with their respective escape boat.
"Pop... I still don't even know what happened back there..." Kugo said.
"Son, no need to worry, this isn't our problem, we have more important things than this." Ishikawa replied.
"What?! The don of the Genovese family was just killed back there pop and you're not even worried?!"
"This isn't our fight son, so no, I'm not worried... It's a shame Charles let himself get killed like that..."
"They were our friends pop..."
"Friends? This family only has us, son. We're the only ones who have to look out for the family, no one else. You shouldn't worry about problems that aren't ours. This is why Jin is more important to me than you..."
"Pop..."
"That's enough!" Ishikawa shouted, then thought, Don't worry, you'll be worth something soon son. After all, you are my son, you're family...
