chapter 018 — narrative

"So y'all are together?" Jordan asked for
confirmation

Vinnie and Blossom look at each other ,

" no, not officially" vinnie answered

" and you want to keep it private
for now ?"

They both nod , jordan smiles

" im happy for the both of you"
he says before walking out of the room .

vinnie looked down at the girl laying
down on his lap , he softly caresses her hair

" you're gonna make me fall asleep" she whines

vinnie laughed " then go to sleep"

she looked at him " no , i wanna stay awake
and spend every second with you"

vinnie frowns as he continues caressing her hair

" but we have like tomorrow and the day after"

blossom sat up and placed the boys hand above
hers , she looked at him straight in the eye
before breaking the news .

" my family and I are going to
Malibu for a few weeks & we leave tomorrow"

" during a pandemic"

" you traveling during a pandemic?"
vinnie adds

blossom sighs , " my grandmother isn't doing well
and my mum wants to spend sometime with her and
i have to quarantine myself for a few days after I come
back so I wont be able to see you because I dont
want to spread the virus if I do happen to carry it"

vinnie understood every word the girl said , he
pulls her in and wrapped his arms around her —
the girl resting on his chest , she could hear the sound
of his heart beat which made her smile .

" you still can face time me but I hope everythings
okay with your grandmother," he says before placing
a kiss on her forehead

Blossom drove back home , she parked her car
and walked up into her house — she greeted her
mother and then went up to her room after taking
her luggage from the living room , she packed her
bag and was ready to go .

she took a shower and did her daily night routine before
answering the face time call from vinnie ; the boys face
popped up on the screen , she flashed a big smile

" fresh out from the shower i see" vinnie pointed out
the obvious

she rolled her eyes playfully , " yeah and i didn't
make a thirst trap in the shower" she jokingly
called vinnie out who laughed in response

the two chatted until it got late ,

" blossom , which top should
i bring?" nailea asked barging
into her sisters room

she looked up to realise blossom was
on face time with Vinnie , she ignored him
and asked her sister the question again

" maybe the white one" blossom picked

" thanks and hi vinnie , you better take
care of her" nailea glared at him through the screen
before smiling and walking out of the room .

soon , the girl became sleepy and fell asleep on facetime

the boy who was gaming came to a realisation
that she was already fast asleep ,
he took a few screenshots before saying goodnight to
the already asleep and ending the call .
