THE WEDDING  !

" Hey !" Reece said
as he walked into the room ,
he smiled at his best friend sitting
down infront of the vanity — blossom
wanted to do her own makeup and hair
since she didnt want to pay the extra money .

" you look good bro" Reece
complimented putting a big smile
on Blossom's face .

The girl puts down the makeup brush
and looked at the lightskin boy standing
behind her , he could read her face and knew
something was off .

He got a chair and sat down by her ,
he placed his hand on top of hers

" I'm very happy that you're happy
and i'm sure that you're making a
great decision , B. This is all you ever
wanted ever since you were young so
go rule the world with your prince charming."
He laughed at the end of his sentence

He adds , " i know you're scared that
your marriage might end up like your parents
but this is your story to write ! Blossom ,
vinnie is going to take care of you and i'm sure
of it , everyone can see how much he cares and
loves you so you don't anything to be afraid
of . I'm sure he'll still be the same lovable person
he is now when y'all get married . I am so
proud of you."

Blossom wipes her tears off her cheeks and
pulled her best friend into a tight hug .

Veerena and the two girls walked in ,

" hey," Jean smiled

" if only Jhene was here," Blossom
sighed , veerena pulled the group
into a hug — they stayed that way
for a few seconds .

" jhene will be watching and she will
be very very happy for you right now."
Priscilla told Blossom as she wiped the
tears off the girls face

" now stop crying before your waterproof
makeup isn't waterproof anymore." She joked

Mrs Devora walk through the doors ,

" we should go" Veerena told
the group , giving Blossom and
her mother some time alone .

They all gave a thumbs up before
leaving and closing the door behind them .

Blossoms mom sat down as she looked at
her beautiful daughter .

" why are you crying baby"

Blossom laughed , " its nothing , ma"

Her mother held onto both of her hands ,
" blossom , i know you're scared of your husband
leaving you like your father did but , i've known
Vinnie since he was a kid and you've known him
since you were a little girl too . I trust him and
you should too . Your father was a selfish man
but Vinnie ? he loves you for you and i see that
he puts you before he puts himself ."

Blossom looked down at their hands
and sighed softly .

" Remember when you were 6 ? you always
talked about how you'd love to get married
to someone at the age of 25 so that you
would still be young and beautiful ?
and that your husband would still
love you for your beauty ?" Her
mother reminisced
