chapter 048 — narrative !

it was Christmas eve ; Blossom's
favourite time of the year , she
loved Christmas because it was the
only day she could sit down together with
the people she loved in the same room .
However , this year she didn't feel like
doing anything for Christmas except for
sitting in the living room with Vinnie
and just enjoying each other's presence.

But vinnie had something planned for
blossom . The girl was currently
laying down wrapped in her sheets ,
she laid on her bed and stared out
the window .

She hasn't left her house in
months , her therapist had to
come to her house .

The door bell rang , Vinnie excitedly
gets it — he opened the door with a big
smile , he lets the guest enter the house

" shes inside," he whispers, pointing
to blossoms room .

They quietly wait for Vinnie in the
living room while he calls Blossom

" Hey baby, I made lunch" he lied

He signalled them with a thumbs up,
he waits for Blossom at the door .

He holds her hand and walked out of the
door with her ,

" What'd you make ?" she asked,
looking at the boy.

He shrugged at Blossom and smiled
at the people infront of them

" what are you smilin-" She paused

She stood there with her hands
trembling and her lips quivering too.

" awh baby" Her mom walked
to her with open arms, she wrapped
her arms around the girl

The warm pair of arms wrapped
around her made her cry more ,
she hugged her mom back and cried
on her shoulder

" i miss you so much" she said
in between crying

The older woman slowly caress
her hair , " I missed you too, just
cry it out Blossom , vinnie told me
everything"

Blossom wiped her tears away ,
she looked at her sister who was just
standing there with a big smile

She engulfed her sister with a big
hug , Nailea laughed

" dont cry b, you look
ugly" Nailea joked

Blossom walked back to
vinnie , " thank you"
she whispered softly to him as
she wrapped her arm around his .

" i'm gonna miss you,"
she told her mum as they hugged

her mother kissed her forehead before
pulling away from the hug

" call me whenever,"

Blossom said bye to her mother and sister,
closing the door after they left.

She runs to vinnie who was sitting on the couch,
she hugs him tightly , her head resting on his shoulder
he wrapped his arm around her and rubbed her back
softly.

" thank you , V" she kissed his cheek
causing him to smile ear to ear .

The couple spend their night
in each others arms .

Hoping that they would
be able to hold onto each other
forever .
