Ben's POV

I slugged my heavy duty bag over my shoulders while this was the day I met up with my hiking gang in the east. 

As I slapped my alarm clock stopping the ringing but noticed it wasn't just the alarm clock it was also the phone that was on the counter- top beside me. As slugged my back and went downstairs. i took an nice big whiff of the air and the air filled with the scent of pancakes with an bottle of syrup that my grand- ma made for me. She said "you got to fill up before the hike!",

I said "Yeah, thank grans!", she engulfed me in an bear hug that was so warm. I then ate my pancakes and dumped half of the bottle of syrup. As i dug in my grand- ma revised me with the wildlife tactics on surviving. She said "first get back before night, second keep hydrated  blah blah blah", things that I know already. 

As I ate all of my pancakes, she stopped talking and she went over the whole entire list of what to bring and I brought everything so i didn't need to worry about the items and they were high- quality. 

As she finished up she said "you ready for the drive?", 

I said "yep", she then took her car keys and went to the garage while I waited in the deck, I though: why would Mike want to meet at a small wildlife centre. If it's only us two and we know everything together and don't need to communicate since we have an "bond" between us and we know everything together, but lets see when we get there. 

I looked out the window and noticed the frost built up in the passenger seat, it was so cold that my I could see my breath. I looked out the widow while trees and car passed until we were in the parking lot of the wildlife centre. 

I walked out with an new surface of snow crunching down on every step, I took my items and my trusty knife strapped on my leg. I looked at my hand and they already formed blisters. I thought: uh, how would I survive if I am having blisters already. 

I walked through the man doors which were thick and covered in fur from bears or wolves. I looked back and said "goodbye" to my grand mother and she responded as an smile meaning "good luck you by yourself now" while her car drove out of the parking lot. 

I headed to the fireplace which Mike wanted me too but there were an security check station at the main gates, I looked over and sure enough Mike wasn't there so I knew I had to wait. 

I took my bag and almost everything off (No dirty thoughts!), as I walked through the body scanner and it showed and red light, the guard told me to walk over to the private scanner. I walked over and when she scanned the scanner at my left leg the light beeped red. I knew it it was my knife. 

As I took my knife out I told her the trail and everything and needed an knife just in case. She looked at me and she gave an nod. I strapped it on again on my leg took everything and got dressed. As I walked over to the couches put my stuff down and made myself and hot- chocolate at the self station. 

I then waited and waited until the main doors of the wildlife opened, I looked around and it was Mike with Zoe and Erica? How how did he do it like Erica shows no feeling and she thinks everything is an waste of time and Zoe spends to much time practising and playing with friends and doesn't have time for anything. 

When they got through the security check also we met her at the fireplace, as the two girls were unpacking I said "how did you make them come her?!", 

he said "well, Zoe needed some time to chill and relax and Erica came since she like to be in the wild and she barely get time too", 

I questioned "do they like you?", 

Mike said whispering "I think they made fake excuses to come so I think it is something else then what I told you", 

i said "so..... they came for different reasons?", 

he said "I think......",  so we then walked over to the girls and we asked in unison "why are you here?", 

Erica said icily "we needed time to chill and this is something good to pass time as well as sharpening our skills in the wild", 

Zoe said happily "well.... I came since I needed time to chill", we nodded in understand but we knew it was something else then that. So we didn't push further. I said "well we will need to walk and mile to get to the Pacific Crest Trail( an real trail) which is one of the hardest trails", 

Zoe said "can't wait!!", 

Mike said "Nice!", Erica just walked over got her stuff and said "What are you waiting!? Time is ticking", we then walked over to out bags and got our stuff and walked to the exit of the main doors. 

We walked to the doors and walked out with the icy breeze blowing on our cheek. We walked forwards. Won't take long right?

Zoe's POV

As I was in my house minding my own work there was an knock on the door and I went over to to open it it was Mike!? I said "Why are you here?", 

He said "well we had plans for an hike at an trail and we wanted more people so it so it is only me Ben and you with some other people. 

I said "Okay", 

He said "meet me at this wildlife centre meet you there!", I closed the door and thought: Yes finally some time with both of my crushes!. I quickly told my parents and they nodded in agreement. I packed and walked to the front door I waited for my parents car and we drove to the wildlife centre meeting up with Mike and Erica?

Nooooooo! She ruined my honeymoon. I walked out and I noticed how cold it was but when Mike said "Hey Zoe we got more person and good to see you join!", my mood lightened and we walked over to the front desk while seeing Ben! 

I walked over and I heard Ben and Mike talk and heard parts like "they made it up", so after we got questioned and we then walked over to the front door where we met with another 10 people while we continued to walk to the trails opening.

Erica's POV

I was practising and  when I heard an knock i walked over to the front door where Mike was smiling and asked me "we were wondering if you would come to the hike since we don't have much people and it is going to be me, ben, you", 

 I said icily "Okay..... but is there anyone else?", 

He said "Maybe like %1 chance", 

I said "okay", I closed the door and though finally some private time with Ben and Mike!

I quickly packed up and made an note to my parents, I ran as fast as I could to the wildlife centre and I saw Zoe!? How now she messed up my private time with these two handsome boys. 

Time skip

I then was walking to the Pacific Crest Trail meeting up with other people! Uh, how much I hate people. 

But with Ben and Mike it is worth it.....
