Aaah so sorry this took so long peeps. I kinda forgot about this and have been piled with so much work these days.
Also, I haven't finished season 4 yet and when I started writing pt1, season 3 wasn't even out so this won't be strictly to canon.

Devinaux is currently driving to Carmen's apartment to finally capture her. He has never been happier.

*where in the world is Carmen Sandiego plays* (yes, it's Devinaux's ringtone)

Devinaux: who is trying to interrupt my glorious moment...

He answers the phone

Julia: Inspector Devinaux..!! Where ar-

Devinaux: Oh it's you. DON'T TRY AND STEAL MY GLORIOUS MOMENT.

Julia: how could you drug Carm-

He hangs up
Devinaux looks into his wing mirror and winks at no one in particular and grins like a child as he hits accelerate.

Player is standing in the middle of the apartment on the phone to Julia.

Julia: Friend of Carmen?? Are you still there??

Player: Yeah, I'm here.

Julia: I'm on my way to you at the moment. How is Carmen keeping??

Player: Yeah she's still the same. I can't seem to shake her awake. Same situation with the others...

Julia: The tranquillising agent that I believe he used should wear out in its own time but I have an antidote.

Player: hopefully she'll be fine

Julia: Any signs of Devinaux??

Player: None

Julia: okay. Just be prepared. *hangs up*

A phone rings. This time it isn't Carmen's, it's Player's.

Call from Mom

Player's mom: I'm coming to pick you up in 2 minutes. No debate.

Player: what???!! Please more time. This is important!!

Player's mom: nope

Player: pl-

She hangs up

There is a loud crashing noise coming from the kitchen of the apartment.

Player: *whispers to himself* oh no.

Devinaux stumbles in and Player ducks and hides behind the table.

Devinaux: AH HAH. IT WORKED. They're all out cold...

He looks around the room, failing to notice Player.

Devinaux: mmhmmm I have finally captured you Carmen Sandiego. WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY FOR YOURSELF.

Carmen (clearly unconscious) : *silence*

Devinaux: AH HAH THAT'S WHAT I THOUGHT.

He bends down to pick her up.

Player: I have to do something.

Player: HEY DEVINAUX!!!!!

Devinaux: What?? Who is there????

Player: AAAHHHHHH

Player swings a frying pan round hitting Devinaux in the head.

He passes out onto the floor

Player backs away

He scrambles for Carmen's phone to call Julia.

Julia: Hello. Is everything okay???

Player: No. Devinaux is here. But he's... he's unconscious... I hope

Julia: Oh my god. I'm almost there don't worry.

Player cut's off the call to answer his own phone.

Player's mom: Car. Now.

Player: I'm coming

He takes one last look around the apartment and decides it's safest to lock Devinaux into the kitchen.

Player: ughhh I'm so sorry Carmen, I'm gonna have to go now. You'll be safe. Devinaux is out cold and Julia is on her way.

Player flees

Julia arrives a few minutes later. She runs up to Carmen & the others and administers an antidote to the tranquilliser.

Julia: Friend of Carmen?? Are you still here..???

She looks down to see Carmen's phone on the counter but no sign of the stranger who spoke to her earlier.

She unlocks the kitchen to find Devinaux

Julia: *sighs* Guess I'll take you to a hospital.
You seem to have been hit pretty hard, you'll probably have amnesia and forget all of this ever happened

Devinaux: *grunts*

She leaves the apartment, dragging Devinaux with her.

Sometime later

Zack, Ivy, Carmen & Shadown are on a video call with player.

Zack: So you're telling us.

Ivy: That Devinaux poisoned us.

Player: IT HAPPENED

Carmen: Then came to capture me.

Shadowsan: But you knocked him out with a frying pan??

Carmen: Then Jules came and cleared everything up.

Player: YOU ALL HAVE AMNESIA

Ivy: Player, dude. I'll admit the pizza was a bit off.

Zack: But if you wanted to make up a heroic story about yourself you could have tried to make it a bit more believable.

Player: GUYS IM TELLING THE TRUTH.

Everyone minus Player: yeah right.
