It had been a few days and life had gone on as normal, Dream had finally decided to leave Nightmare alone for more than five seconds and had gone down to the village. Nightmare kinda missed Dream's company but... He always had the book to talk to?
He reached beside him and lifted the book and opened up to a random page, this page had writing on it? Not that long ago the book practically erased all the writing from it. He flicked backwards through the book and found the last few pages didn't have writing, would whatever talk's through the book even replie.

The book was silent for awhile then rippled with it's usually dark green color.

Yeah?

Just wanted to talk to someone. Kinda lonely right now.

Well for a book I think I'm great a starting conversation's.

Nightmare chuckled at the book's remorse.

Nightmare and the book continued talking, or just casually yeeting sarcasm at eachother. But Nightmare became to curious and had to ask the book his question.

I was trying to warn you, but you woke up so it moved to Dream.
