What the hell, she's a dude? She has the voice of a man but a features of woman.
Kumunot ang noo ko sa kaniyang sinabi. Venice? But its mom's name for pete sake.
"Y-you!
Shit! Mom need to know this.
I ran back at the small house of the old lady but while I'm getting nearer, my heart beats faster as I hear rejoicing voices of people coming from the abandoned city. It's like they are having festivity.
"Mom!" I vociferated as I saw mom but I think she did not hear me so I went near her.
"W-what the f*ck?" bulalas ko nang makalapit ako sa kaniya.
I-I wasn't hallucinating a while ago when I heard humans because the abandoned city was filled with people and the place is full of lights, from the house down to the street lights. It looks like it was never abandon at all.
"W-where is y-your s-sister?"
Shit. Si Deim nga pala.
Wait, why the hell mom stuttered while saying those words? Okay enough Demean, Deim is in danger, psh.
"W-we were walking near a lake then a beautiful monster appeared a-and-" I was interrupted by someone.
But wait, Lakambini?
"Sinabihan na kita noon Venice na huwag ka nang pumunta rito pero sinuway mo-" mom cut her off with a raging expression plastered on her face.
"I did not mama! I thought yesterday was his last day in this world then he will be sent in hell after that!" nagtitimping sigaw ni mom.
"Guys, Deim was abducted by a beautiful monster na lalake pala, kaya mamaya niyo na ipagpatuloy pag-uusap niyo!" natataranta kong singit.
"What the fuck?! What are you talking-" I stop talking when she gave me a sharp look.
"Mom?! Aren't you going to do something?" inis kong tanong.
"D-deim is gone."
Oh shit. This is the first time I shouted at mom.
I heard her sighed before holding my face and let me face her. Then there I saw our loving mom crying for the loss of my twin sister.
"It was raining before, when I found out that I was pregnant with the both of you." panimula niya habang nakatingin sa mga mata ko.
Deim really looks like mom from hair down to toe. It's like Deim is the younger version of mom.
"Then because of too much happiness I slided on the mud but before I fall to the ground someone caught me and that was Lakambini."
"He has a hair and the face of a beautiful lady though he's a man. Then we became close friends up to the point that your father already got jealous. One day, he confessed his love for me but I also felt something towards him but I'm not sure if it's love."
"Who is that Bathala and Anito?" singit ko bago siya makapagpatuloy.
T-the Gods and Goddesses were true? That's unbelievable.
"Lakambini was the God of purity, festivity, anti-gluttony and food. Also he was a pure maiden. But he broke Bathala's golden rule when he confessed his love for me."
So Anitos doesn't have the right to love? That's cruel.
"Bathala cursed Lakambini then he was given time to live in this world but as a monster. And I will never forget what he said before. 'I will bring you with me in hell Venice remember that!' and he fulfilled it with my daughter," ani mom.
W-what the hell? That monster brought my sister in hell because he thought that was our mom?
So I was correct that this place was an abandoned city but now everything turned back.
"My biggest mistake ain't about coming here, but instead, it was the problem that I didn't settled with me and Lakambini, the Cursed Anito."
