"You can't hide yourself from me, Bathala."
Napabalikwas ako ng bangon sa bangungot.
I'm taking deep breaths while recalling the reason for my abrupt awakening. That dream in which I heard a terrifying voice inside a black dimension that seemed to go on forever. Standing alone and terrified on an antique floor. The chill that spreads from the bottom of my feet to my torso, which adds to the shiver I felt from the voice I heard, is due to the fact that I am barefooted.
"Same dream again?"
When the door opened, I was surprised to see a teenage girl wearing a facemask and a faceshield.
"Yea," I answered in dissappointment, anger, defeat, madness, regretfulness I don't know I have a mixed emotions today.
"Diba nagsimula 'yan nang mahanap kita sa daanan noong kasagsagan ng ulan?"
Tanong niyang muli habang nagtatanggal ng suot niyang mga protection sa mukha.
She tracked me down when I was reincarnated as a human. After seeing what humanity are going through right now, I sighed and had a lot of ideas.
"This is all my fault Diyan. The humans are suffering because of the war that I didn't know, I lost," I bursted out.
She took a deep breath before seating near to me.
"Why would you say that?" mahina nitong tanong.
"The strong disasters that humans called hurricane and typhoon. The forest fires and current fire that is happening in different forests. The strong earthquakes but mostly the virus, that came from a country and spread worldwide," paliwanag ko sa kaniya.
"They were all meant to ha-" I cut her off.
"No Diyan. If Anitun Tabu (the Goddess of wind and rain) was still alive, those typoons will be in control. If Lingga and Bitbit, the Gods of Medicine, together with Mapulon (the God of good health, healing and season) were still here? That pandemic that humans called Covid-19 will not spread. If other Deities, Divinities and Divines who were killed in the war were still alive and the major, minor and especially the primodial Gods and Goddesses didn't sacrificed their lives for me just to be here? Everything will be in peace," nanghihina kong dagdag habang nakatulala sa kawalan.
The humans are suffering for the Gods and Goddesses of Kaluwalhatian had died. That's the reason why all of this shit happened in land of the mortals.
"Did you remember what Sitan said before he died?"
"Hmm. Why?"
"I am still wondering who is the head of that rebellion army who defeated the Gods. Before Sitan vanished, he told us that the storm is yet to come. That, I realized what he meant when countless of Anggitay, centaur-unicorn like creatures, appeared on Kaluwalhatian and fought with the Gods," I added.
"What happened to them?"
"Who are you?" seryoso kong tanong at hinanda ang sarili.
"W-what are y-you talking about? It's me Diyan Masalanta, goddess of; lovers, child birth and peace," she confusedly answered while staring at me with her eyes that I only realized it was pure white.
That's what I thought, because I was the only survivor of a war that lasted hundreds of years, and Diyan Masalanta was in the land of the living the entire time, but she was always updated, so how could she not know?
I clenched my teeth and destroyed the floor, shattering the surroundings like broken glassware and revealing the ancient spot known as the God's dimension in the land of the mortals (the other side of the world).
"Who are you!" sigaw ko matapos makita ang kaniyang kabuuan.
She's the most beautiful creature I've ever seen before my friend. A friend whom I accidentally killed in a combat thousands of years ago.
A centaur with a purple aura surrounding her entire form, including the jewels near her belly button.
A faint violet-colored fire is positioned at each of her feet, particularly the bow and arrow she wields as a weapon.
"Kuku I was careless my bad, Bathala there was a God who made love with a Chevelure," panimula nito.
Hold on, Chevelure? Those Chevelure? It's the second most powerful sorcerer clan from Santonilyo, the planet of the known sorcerers and sorceress.
"The God never knew he had a daughter with a sorceress but when that child grew up, she tried to find her father just to witness how it was killed on her watch."
Magsasalita sana ako nang nagpatuloy pa ito.
"Murdered in the competition on who will rule the Kaluwalhatian and who will be hailed as the king of the Gods."
Natutop ako sa aking narinig.
"Y-you're talking about Orphaned Spirit the primordial white, aren't you?" gulat kong tanong.
I even heard a tremendous boom coming from behind me, which was the result of the arrow she had fired at me colliding with my back. I chuckled at how frail I had become; the big injuries I sustained during the battle are still with me, which is why I am so pitifully frail right now.
What incredible strength she possesses merely confirms her status as a Primordial God's daughter, as she possesses strength unrivaled by divinity.
"Yes, Bathala. I am also the one who demolished your Kaluwalhatian, ambushed the other primordial, major and minor Gods and Goddesses or whatsoever at your side. From now on, the sorcerers, sorceress and Anggitay will take over your beloved mortals. Don't you worry, we will make their life miserable AHAHAHA. Oh and by the way I am Venetus, the Goddess of archery, centaurs and soon to rule the Santonilyo after my clan defeated the Santonilyo itself, the God of sorcery and blessings."
Napatingin ako sa malayo sa sobrang pagsisisi.
Forgive me my humans, all the efforts the divine beings did and sacrifices they made were all in vain for your Bathala had fallen...
