Today after doing some house chores I decided to go out to the Mall and probably watch a movie because I'm bored. I called Shalewa earlier if she'll like to hangout but she said she had somewhere to go with Jimi.
On getting to the Mall I first of all went to check the movies showing today at the cinema. After checking I decided to go do some shopping since the movie I want to watch won't show till 3pm and it's just few minutes past 12.
When it was few minutes to 2pm I had already bought some groceries and clothes which I had taken to my car and I decide to go to dominos to eat something before the movie starts.
After ordering for what I wanted I sat down to wait then I heard my name
"Ife! "
I turned to see that it was Rotimi's friend from the party smiling at me. I feel bad because I can't even remember his name.
"Hello! I'm sorry I think I might have forgotten your name " I said
"it's fine I'm Tomide, can I sit with you " he said referring to the chair opposite the one I'm seated at
"oh yes please "
"so what are you doing here " he asked
"I just want to have something to eat before going to watch a movie "
"nice "
"yeah, what about you " I asked
"uhm I was supposed to hang out with my sister today before leaving for Abuja but she couldn't make it because of some things she needed to do"
"oh! "
"yeah, so what movie do you intend to watch "
"living in bondage "
"same here, so have you gotten your ticket "
"not yet "
"if you don't mind I have an extra one that I got for my sister "
"that's so nice of you, thank you "
"you're welcome "
Tomide got us ice-cream while I shared my Pizza with him while we continued talking. We later left to go watch the movie.
"that was a nice movie " I said as we stepped out of the cinema after the movie ended heading towards the car park.
"yeah it was "
"thank you for today, I'm grateful "
"it's nothing "
"so when are you going back to Abuja "
"on Tuesday "
"okay"
"yeah! So if you don't mind can I have your number "
"sure " I said as I typed my number into his phone.
"thank you " he said as I handed back his phone to him. By now we had gotten to where I parked my car.
"you're welcome, bye " I said as I got into my car and waved at him.
