"Give it back!" Moon whined as she chased Turtle and Kinkajou around the football field. Kinkajou was reading through her text messages and of course, she found a way to get her boyfriend to help.
"Neva!" Kinkajou giggled as she started climbing up the bleachers. Turtle took this opportunity to get lost in the crowd that was there for the football game.
Naturally, people were giving them weird looks, but they were cheerleaders they could do whatever they want during the game as long as they have team spirit.
"Please?" Moon started to climb up after her.
"Nope! Ooh, you got a date? Already? Dang, girl. Slow down!" Kinkajou laughed scrolling continuously as she ran back down the bleachers.
Moon blushed at that and followed. "It's not a date! I have a boyfriend."
"Really? And who is that?" Qibli asked in a sarcastic voice. He and Winter were walking over to their team when they passed them. Moon hadn't talked to him after he told her... what he told her. She just took her stuff and walked away, they hadn't talked since.
Winter has the guy a confused look, he didn't yet understand Qibli heard everything. "What?"
"Qibli, drop it," Moon said firmly.
"Why should I, Princess?" He glared at her. His feelings had obviously been hurt when she just walked away.
"Just stop. Please."
"What's going on? Someone explain." Kinkajou looked at Moon, then Qibli, to Winter and around again.
"Nothing," the three said quickly.
"Okay then?"
"We have to go. The coach is calling us." Qibli pointed in the team's direction.
Once he walked away, Winter followed him hesitantly.
"Moon, what's going on? Talk to me," Kinkajou asked.
Moon looked at her, she was so innocent. No, wait, that wasn't right. Moon laughed quietly to herself before snatching her phone away. "Nah, I'm good."
"Well, that isn't fair!" Kinkajou grinned and crossed her arms.
"Well, that's life. Hate to break it to ya." Moon turned and walked over to the other girls in their cheer team.
