*December*

A whole month went by and Taehyung didn't see Seokjin not once. Each day Taehyung brought his blazer with him just in case but he didn't see him.

Even Namjoon, Yoongi and Hoseok hadn't seen him. The omega couldn't help but worry. Their last conversation still weighed heavily on him especially when he saw how sad the alpha was. Taehyung sighed deeply as he walked out of his last class. He paused when he saw Harin waiting outside the classroom. She gave him a warm friendly smile.

"Hi Taehyung-ah, are you busy right now? Any more classes?"

"Oh no, I just finished my last class."

"Yay." She clapped. "Do you like tea? Can we sit and have a little omega chat for a bit?"

A small blush came to his cheeks. "Sure."

She linked arms with him. "Awesome let's go."

They walked to the cafeteria and sat down at a table. Taehyung noticed everyone staring at them and he felt so out of place. If he compared himself to her, then it was a weed sitting next to a fully bloomed rose. His shoulders slumped trying to keep himself small.

She took a sip of her tea before looking at him.

"Ah I miss Korea so much. It feels so good to be back and to have an actual decent cup of tea." She said.

Taehyung looked at her. "You came back from The States right?"

She nodded.

"You have family in The States?"

"My dad owns some businesses out there so I tend to go when I want to spend time with him.

"I see...that's cool." He couldn't even begin to imagine what that lifestyle was like. But he just knew she and Namjoon fit together. There was no way he could compete with her for the alpha's affection.

"I'm going back to The States at the end of December."

"Oh? Already?"

She nodded. "I just came here to visit my mom and my grandparents, I haven't seen them in a while and I had some time off of work but I need to get back. But that's all just idle chat." She giggled. "What I really want to talk to you about is Seokjinnie."

Taehyung instantly found the table more interesting to look at her. His face was burning and his heart was about to leap out of his chest. He could still taste and feel the intensity of that kiss and it was driving him nuts.

"Do you hate him?"

Taehyung looked at her. "I won't lie, at first I did. I couldn't stand him and thought he was the biggest asshole alive...but then...there were times he showed me kindness..." He trailed off thinking about how the alpha gave him his handkerchief and even let him cry on his shoulder. "Then I started thinking he was like a kid who had no discipline. He was wild and just says what's ever on his mind with no filter."

She giggled. "You are very right. I knew him since we were little kids and he's had it rough growing up. You may or may not know but he's the only boy. He has two older sisters and a younger sister. The girls could do whatever they want however he couldn't. He's the primary successor his mother chose to take over so she was very strict with him while growing up." She leaned back in her seat and crossed her arms. "When he was in grade school and middle school he used to get bullied all the time and his mother saw him as a weakling. So the day he presented as an alpha he felt he had something to prove. Like he had to redeem himself for getting bullied and in result he became one himself. His parents were hardly home so his eldest sister basically raised him and his youngest sister."
