I followed Principal Miller into his office, and felt the tension as soon as I entered the room.
It was a war zone.
"Please take a seat Miss Andrews."
His secretary (whom I forgot the name of, not surprisingly since I never visited this room in
the first place) was completely ignoring us, shuffling through papers, but I knew she was listening to every word that was said.
"Miss Andrews. I've been told by Rob that you were, in fact the instigator of this rather
unfortunate event, what do you have to say in reply to that?"
What did I have to say? Oh, I had a lot to say. But I decided to take my words slowly.
"Mr. Miller, I had NOTHING to do with this...other than the small fact that I was being harassed." I said dramatically...so much for slow.
"Harassed, Miss Andrews?" He raised the same eyebrow at me.
I was tempted to push it back down, weird I know.
"Yes, definitely harassed."
"By 'harassed', would you be referring to Rob?" He questioned.
"I would indeed! But not only Rob, his girlfriend Shelby started the whole thing. You can
ask him." I gestured to the stranger, then continued with my accusations.
"You remember I asked for a pass to the restroom shortly before class was let out."
Mr. Miller nodded his head, as he processed this information.
"After the bathroom, I went to the water fountain. Class was let out and Shelby started to
push me around, I tried to leave, but she wouldn't let me. Then she started calling for her
stupid, little boyfriend to come 'save' her, and I'd done nothing but try to walk away."
"Mr. Bentley, is this correct?" *cue the eyebrow*
Rob started to stutter, much to my pleasure.
"Sir, All I know, is my girlfriend called me over. She was upset and this...this...GIRL, if that's
even what she is, was hanging over Shelby. I don't let anyone hurt my girl, so I gave her
a warning, I in no way used physical violence. Then this turd (he gestured to the stranger)
totally had it out for me. He busted my nose, as you can see!"
"Rob, I don't know the whole story entirely, but I find it strange that Shelby, captain of the
soccer team, very well capable of taking care of herself, AND the grand height of 5'8
could be taken advantage of by a girl like Delanie."
For once, I blessed my height and nonexistent muscles. I made my eyes bigger to improve
my innocence.
Principal Miller cleared his throat. "Bentley and Andrews, you may go. Go directly to lunch,
you'll still have a few minutes in the cafeteria. If I hear that anything else has been going
on between the two of you, I won't be so easy as I have been today."
Rob got up instantly and cleared the room.
"What about him?" I pointed at the stranger, who had said nothing, nor been questioned
this entire time.
"Miss Andrews." He reprimanded. "Let ME take care of it. Thank you." He smiled.
I went to the cafeteria, paid for my food, and sat down.
It wasn't strange for me to sit alone...in fact I'd never done anything different.
So I was extremely surprised when The table shifted as someone sat down in front of me.
I didn't know who to expect. I found it extremely odd, on looking up to perceive Harrison
Crawford. The dream boat. Seated RIGHT, directly in front of me.
I made eye contact with him, only to realize that my mouth was gaping open. I quickly
snapped it shut.
"It's Delanie, right?" He flashed me that famous, gleaming smile and I felt myself melt a
little inside. He knew my name? He knew my name!
"Yeah. Delanie Andrews." I stated rather calmly.
"Good for you Delanie." My conscience spoke up. "You didn't screw this one up, Good for
you."
"So...uh. I saw that little scene in the hallway between you and Shelby."
Wow, congratulations on stating the obvious. I have no doubt in my mind that the entire
school witnessed that.
"Yeah, she's a real jerk." He said.
Wait, did Harrison Crawford just call Shelby a jerk??? Do my ears deceive me?
"But, to be completely honest about it, that's not what I'm hear for...at all." He leaned
forward, only two inches from my face. What could Harrison Crawford need from ME?

A/N: And there's Part 4, the favor. Which by the way, we don't know QUITE what that is yet, do we?? ;) I realize my chapters/parts have been rather short, but I promise it WILL pick up. I have big plans. :D We still don't know who the stranger is, or what he wants from Delanie. But more than that...what could Harrison possible want? ;) Find out in Part 5. In order to complete part 5, I need your support! Please comment, or vote. 2 votes= an update.
Lots of love!
