Chapter 39

               In the fire region.

               In Hot's mansion.

               In one of the sitting rooms.

             Hot held Fred to himself.

            "I am sorry, I almost broke the rule, I almost let others see my tears", said Fred.

       "It's ok", said Hot as he Pat him.

         "It's just that I wanted a small wedding ( he drew back and looked at Hot,then dried his tears) I am aware that I am your brother but I wanted to hide myself, I didn't want more spirits to know and then we will start explaining, I thought you would want that too but you want a big wedding,a wedding that will announce me to the world, spirits will ask questions and they will find out", said Fred.

     "So let them find out, I don't care", said Hot.

     "I care, I don't want them to find out, I want to hide myself like I did when we were little", said Fred.

       "Why do you want to hide, you are a spirit, you have royal blood,why do you wish to hide?", asked Hot.

      "I don't know, I am not ready for everyone to know,if they ask who I am to you, what would you tell them?", asked Fred.

     Hot stared at Fred.

    "I... I will say to them that you... you are my son, not because I created you,Pure created Liquid but she doesn't see her as her child,a lot of spirits have created smart clones but they don't see them as their children, I feel this way because I trained you, I disciplined you, I took care of you, and I made you the man you are today, you are my first child, that's what I will tell them", said Hot.

     "Then you will tell them that I was once a smart clone who is now a spirit", said Fred.

      "No,they don't need all those explanations, you are a spirit,a spirit child I had 20 years ago, that's all they need to know", said Hot.

    "I don't want to sound rude or greedy, don't get me wrong but what if they ask if he is your first why didn't you name him heir", said Fred.

     Hot paused for a while then said"I should've named you heir, you deserve to be named heir but I couldn't bring myself to ask my father, I guess I am not all perfect after all", said Hot.

      "Or you didn't see me as a son, I will understand if you tell me the truth", said Fred.

     Hot went to sit down.

     "I can't continue to try to explain to you, believe what you must,all my life I felt alone,Pure was there but she was just a friend,there is a limit to her love and care, I needed someone to be my side, not as a friend but as family, I was weak and I made you out of my weakness that why I wanted you to be strong but it was impossible, I lied to you that I was just your master, until I started calling you brother but I hide the actual truth in, I couldn't name you heir because that would be announcing a secret I hide in, announcing my weakness to the world but now I don't see you as weakness anymore, I see you as my strength", said Hot.

     "If I was still a clone would you see me as your son?", asked Fred.
  
    "Stop asking me questions, I said believe what you must", said Hot.

     Fred sat down"I appreciate your offer but I refuse, I want a small wedding and I will get it even if I have to get married the day after, I see you as a father but I don't see myself as the first child, I see myself as the last, the one who should hide away", said Fred.
