"All right, listen up, guys," Chase announces to the crowd of bionic students. "We're introducing a new element to training: The Bionic Battle. Each week, two of you will be pitted against each other in a physical challenge."

"To death?!" Spin questions with excitement.

Harley lets out a chuckle as Leo spoke. "Yes, Big D. built this multimillion-dollar facility to train and house you just so he could pick you off one by one."

"So each week's winner will earn points toward advancing to the next bionic skill level." Chase continues. "And the loser gets... well, humiliated."

"Spin, since you're the youngest, you get to choose an opponent first," Bree tells the boy.

"Yes!" Spin turns to the crowd of students. "Scared? You should be."

Chase steps in. "No, no. This isn't about scaring people. No one's going to get hurt." Suddenly, a dodgeball comes aiming at him and hits him in the back. He glares towards the main hallway where the dodgeball came flying. He runs out there with Harley and Bree on his tail.

Just as they walked out, a ball came flying in Harley's direction and she uses her quick reflexives to catch the ball single-handed. She glares at the student who wore a yellow uniform before harshly throwing it back.

"What are you doing?" Chase questions Adam as he and Bob were playing basketball with a few other students.

"We're throwing this thing at that thing," Bob answers referring to the basketball and the hoop. "I'm an athlete."

Harley sighs. "Adam, you're a mentor now. You have to start acting like one."

"I am," Adam says. "We're supposed to teach them how to use their abilities. So, we're having a bionic slam dunk contest."

"Incoming!" Bob shouts as he runs towards the hoop and jumps into the air and hanging on by the rims of the hoop.

"Bob, get down from there," Bree tells him.

"Sorry, little lady. No can do." Bob says.

"Why not?" Harley asks.

"Because I'm afraid of heights." He replies.

"But you can levitate," Chase says.

"Oh, I'm good going up," Bob says. "It's the going down a part that never ends well."

The four mentors sigh as Chase turns to them. "I'll have to use my molecular kinesis to get him down."

As he walked away, Bree spoke. "Or you could just use a ladder." Harley nods in agreement.

As Chase used his molecular kinesis, Bob lets out a scream and falls on top of Chase as the hoop fell on Bob. The two boys let out a groan as they hit the floor.

The three mentors laugh.

"I don't know what you're talking about, Bob. That ended very well." Adam tells him.

Bree and Harley turn in the direction of the entrance of the training area Davenport enters as he was on the phone with Tasha.

"Okay, Tasha. I got it, honey." He spoke. "Okay, now you're just growling."

"Trouble in paradise?" Bree asks the man.

Davenport sighs once he hung up. "I've just been so busy with the academy, I haven't been able to spend any time with Tasha."

Adam chuckles. "And she's complaining about that?"
