Forever ?(LUNAY FANFIC)

Chapter 16

AILINN

The plane just landed in PR and to say I am excited is understatement. I was currently waiting for my luggage. I wasn't sure who was picking me up yet because my mom was working and she was trying to get off early. But I told her I didn't mind waiting because I'm just glad I am here back in my home country. Once I got my bag I walked over to the waiting area and I sat down on one of the chairs and started watching Netflix. 

It has been about an hour that I have been waiting for my mom and I felt a tap on my shoulder. I took my AirPods out of my ear and turned around and I saw Jefnier standing there with a big smile. I was a little in shock and didn't know how to respond  he pulled me in into a tight hug and lifted me up.

"I missed you"he said into the crook of my neck and I blushed.

"I missed you too" I said as we pulled away and he placed me back down. I grabbed my bag but he took it from my hand and we started walking out go the airport.

"Your mom couldn't pick you up they were short staffed at her job so I volunteered of course"he said as we got in his car.

"Well thank you I really appreciate it" I told him and he shot me a smile. He than began driving to I am guessing my house. I looked out the window and smiled at the scenery. I really did miss it here well it is my home country of Course but is it bad to think that I would not actually every move back here again.

"Did you miss it here" he asked me and I nodded.

"A lot" I told him and he nodded understanding. "But I don't think I will ever move back here forever"I told him and he looked at me a little confused.

"You really like it over there at Harvard"he asked me and I nodded.

"I do love it there but I wouldn't necessary stay there I want to move somewhere else I just don't know where yet" I told him and I noticed we passed the way to go to my house. "You missed the exit" I told him very confused. 

"No I didn't"he said with a small smile.

"Yeah you did my house is back that way . I know I've been gone for a while but not that long" I said to him. 

"We aren't going to your house we are going to mine" he said with a chuckle and I raised my eyebrow at him. "Your mom told me to take you to my house while she gets home because she doesn't want you home by yourself "he told me and I still looked at him confused.

"I've always stayed by myself at my house what's changed" I said to him and he took a deep breath in.

"The area has just gotten worse since you moved the amount of people being kidnapped and the gang violence has gone up"he said to me and I frowned. My mom has been living by herself at the house knowing it was really dangerous and she didn't tell me anything.

"Oh my god my mom has been living by herself" I said and I felt a pang of guilt. I'm such a horrible daughter how can I not check up on my mom more often.

"No, ever since everything got super bad I offered her my apartment by my moms house so she can stay at while everything calms down" he reassured me and grabbed my hand giving it a squeeze. I felt a little relief but I still felt uneasy.

"Thank you for doing that"I told him sincerely and I looked down at our hands. I felt butterflies in my stomach but I still feel like its a little too soon so I removed my hand. 

"I'm sorry"he said.

"No its fine it's just I feel like its way to soon" I told him and he nodded agreeing. I didn't even noticed that we were already at his house. I opened my door and got off the car shyly. I grabbed my things and we walked into the house. I haven't been here in quite a while and I feel a mix of emotions. 

"Everything looks the same"I said to him as I looked around and he nodded scratching the back of his head.

"I've been trying to avoid coming here since the breakup. It just doesn't feel the same without you" he said and it made my heart fluttered a little bit but I brushed it off. "you can pick any room you want"he said and I nodded. I walked into the guest room where I use to store my things when I moved in here for the first time. I looked around and saw the same pictures of us as children which caused me to smile. I placed my things down and laid down. I am in really need for a nap.

-----------------An hour later 

I opened my eyes and looked around. Yep I'm still at Jefnier's house I guess I wasn't dreaming. I slowly got up and stretched. I checked the time and it was currently four in the afternoon so I basically still have the whole evening and night left. I walked to my luggage and grabbed a cute outfit that I could wear out. I walked into my bathroom and showered and got ready for the day.

After I finished getting ready I grabbed my phone and checked it to see if I received any messages. Which I did from Brad and the other brothers I quickly texted back telling them that I was in PR and stuff leaving the part that I am staying with Jefnier. I walked downstairs and went to the kitchen. I still haven't seen Jefnier anywhere so I am guessing he's out somewhere. I grabbed an apple and started eating it. 

"There you are I was looking for you"I heard jefnier say and I turned. He was standing in just short literally shirtless in front of me. I took my eyes off his toned chest and I looked at him in the eyes.

"I was showering and stuff I just came down right now"I told him and I tossed my apple into the trash can. "I'm going to head out right now. I want to go visit Myke since he's back in PR right now" I said to him and he nodded.

"I can go with you if you want" he said to me and I shook my head.

"No its fine I'm sure you got better things to do" I said to me and he shook his head.

"No I don't. It will be fun us three back together like the old times"he suggested and I gave in and nodded. 

"Okay" I said and he cheered. "Can we go right now because it's already getting kinda late" I suggested and he nodded.  I grabbed my purse and phone.

"Okay lets head out" he said and I nodded. We walked out of the house and started to drive to Myke's house. God I hope everything goes okay.
