Few years later

It has been a few years since the last time I had spoken to Jefnier since I have returned to Puerto Rico in general. I also haven't kept in touch with Myke even though I still text him here and there.  Life has definitely changed a lot since. I graduated from the Harvard like my mother hoped even though she passed away shortly after I graduated. It was a very devastating time for me but it has been almost two years since. 

I am a med student at Harvard medical school and I am in my second year almost third year. My fiancé just graduated from medical school and is currently a resident at a hospital. Yes, you read that right fiancé. I'm engaged to the love of my life and best friend Brad. After I returned from Puerto Rico I stayed single for about year. I wanted to find happiness with in myself before trying to jump in to a relationship. I wanted to be mentally and physically healthy. I thought I would end up back with Jefnier but I realized it would of just brought me back and Jefnier as well into a toxic cycle. 

I eventually ended up back together with Brad and I'm the happiest I have ever been. These past seven years with him by my side have been the happiest years of my life.  

I was currently getting ready for my wedding I had my make up and hair done all I needed was my dress. 

"Are you ready?" Brad sister asked me. She was my maid of honor for the wedding and is one of my best friends. 

"Yes" I said and I started to put on the gorgeous gown. She helped me tie it from the back and I looked at myself in the mirror and I smiled. I looked like a bride and it made my heart full.

"You look amazing"she said and I thanked her. I started to walk out the door to show the man that was going to walk me down the aisle since my mother wasn't here with me. They opened the door and his eyes went wide. 

"You look absolutely gorgeous Peaches"Myke said and I swear I could see tears in his eyes. 

"Thank-"I was about to thank him but I was cut off. 

"She actually looks absolutely beautiful" I heard the voice of a man I haven't heard in years and it made me want to cry my eyes out. I invited him but I didn't actually think he would come after we finished everything. 

"Jefnier" I said and I felt tears dropping on to my cheek. 

"Don't cry beautiful" he said and I ran to him and hugged him. 

"I didn't think you would come" I cried into this arms. 

"I wouldn't miss my soulmates most important day of her life" he said as he hugged me tightly. "even though I alway wished it was me at the end of that aisle" he said and I shot him a weak smile. 

"Come one we have to walk you down that aisle before the groom thinks you ran away" he said and I wrapped my arms around theirs, and they began to walk me down the aisle.

He is right he is my soulmate and he was the guy at the end of the aisle in another life.
