Blinding light seeped in from the cracks of the curtains. In the room, Seung-Eun was analyzing the status of the protagonist as he leaned against a pillow to support himself on the bed.

Thick gauze was wrapped around his head and a partial cast was around his right arm, supported by a sling. His bloody outfit when he wore in the Dungeon was changed into a hospital gown.

In the middle of the way when Se-Yoon drove him to the hospital, he lost consciousness and only woke up several minutes ago. It seemed like he underwent brain surgery last night and still in the influence of anaesthetic since he couldn't feel pain. And since the aftereffect was dizziness and nauseousness, he had to take a health potion that could increase his health by 20%.

On the couch across him, Se-Yoon was sleeping with his arms crossed and head rested on the wall. His black hair was messy and he was still dressed in his work uniform from yesterday.

Now that he thought about it. Why did his brother go to the Dungeon yesterday? Did he receive a call that their apartment got burnt down because he forgot to turn off the clothes iron? Hopefully not. Cold sweats gathered on Seung-Eun's forehead.

He'll distract his brother before he could remember.

There were knocking on the white door and Seung-Eun closed the window. "Come in."

The person that entered was Jin-Woo dressed in casual attire. He held a surprised look as he approached the bedside of the awakened patient.

"You're awake? How are you feeling right now?"

Seung-Eun didn't expect that Jin-Woo would visit him. "I'm fine. But why did you come this early, hyung? You should rest more at home instead."

"Worry about yourself first." Jin-Woo gazed at the pitiful appearance in front of him and straightened his lips. "I'm glad that you are alright."

Last night, after he was held back for the investigations of yesterday's incident, he rushed to the hospital, only to have his front door neighbour shoo-ed him to get a check-up and go home when his little brother was in the operation room.

Seung-Eun smiled as a response. "Thank you. But I'm not easy to kill you know."

The lack of negative reaction disturbed Jin-Woo slightly.

To him, it was a miracle that he survived a blow from a C-rank Hunter, a level higher than him. Earlier, he was overly perturbed as the worse possiblity of the emergency operation continued to taunt him. But seeing that this teen in front of him was breathing and awake, no words could describe his feelings.

"You shouldn't have sacrificed yourself like that. What if something worse happens to you? You are lucky enough to survive. If you didn't..." Jin-Woo suddenly felt his blood boiled. He was angry at himself that someone weaker would sacrifice their life for him, when in fact, he was the strongest amongst them.

If this person in front of him died, he wouldn't be able to forgive himself.

"Even if the same scenario happened again, I would've done the same thing." Seung-Eun lowered his eyelids as he continued in his mind. 'If you die, the world would ends."

At his answer, Jin-Woo furrowed his eyebrows in incredulous. How could he sacrifice himself for someone else? He would've understood if it was for a family member or a close friend.
