So this is kind of a theory and a headcannon that I made up a while ago cuz the concept made me happy.
Shuichi and sayaka are siblings......hear me out a bit okay.
Shuichi and sayaka grew up with each other for a little bit until he was around 12. His parents had picked sayaka as there favorite child since they found shuichi to just not be as good as her and just not good enough. So when they went over sea's for work they made him stay with his uncle and sayaka went with them and the reason there last names are diffrent us because there mom remarried while they were gone and shuichi didn't know and just kept saihara as his last name.
It makes sense to me since his parents are a screen writer and an actress which makes them very well known to the public just like a popstar would be and sometimes families with famous parents have famous kids too.
This is nothing but a hc/ theory that I might include into some of my stories if I feel like it.
