An unexpected new recruit

Kathy sat in her desk wondering about Jonathan, why she fell head over heels for him, yes he was incredibly hot but she had met her share of men in university but she never felt this instant attraction to any of them. This was a complex bond already created, she was just playing along, she wondered where this would lead to.

Her boss always ignored her but she wanted to turn it all around and make him feel the same way she felt. She had to clear all this thoughts before getting through the day. She worked as HR manager in Celia's co., and today was the day where all the new recruits came in, it was her job to conduct the induction program. She started working on her presentation which she had ignored to prepare last night, she couldn't concentrate due to certain thoughts on someone.

Jonathan composed himself before facing William. He wondered what william was doing here after 8 years. He got straight to the point without beating around the bush "What do you want William, you are obviously not here to enquire about my well being."

William smirked before answering, "I am just here to mend the bridges, I want to work with you, renew our friendship, forget about the past and let it stay where it belongs."

Jonathan didn't trust William one bit, but he wanted to give him a chance and mend their friendship, after all everything was just William's misunderstanding , he was just a victim of circumstance. He wanted William to get to know the truth. So he answered after a pause,"I will do whatever it takes to mend our friendship."

William paused before answering, all "I need is a job in your company in your HR department as an intern."

Jonathan couldn't believe it William was a multi-billionaire with his companies spread across all over the world. He wanted to work as an HR intern, Jonathan was sure something was up. But at this point he couldn't afford to turn his best friend down, so he accepted.

William was sitting there with a satisfied grin, he got his job done now all he had to do was get close to his HR Manager Kathy Jones
