William entered the HR department and surveyed his surroundings, he didn't really care about this company, all he wanted was to bond with one particular person. He stood there searching for Kathy, who was nowhere to be found.
He went around searching all cabins before coming across Kathy's cabin. He knocked and after having confirmation to enter, he went in and came face to face with Kathy, he didn't know what to expect, he always thought his feelings died with Celia, but seeing Kathy something in his gut twisted. He didn't want to fall victim twice by falling in love with Jonathan's second choice mate.

Kathy sat there watching the stranger in her cabin. His eyes conflicted with various emotions, pain, sorrow, love, she didn't know what was happening here or who this stranger was. She had to admit the person standing in front of her was very attractive, if she already hadn't set her sights on Jonathan, she would definitely be attracted to this guy. But this guy also carried a dangerous vibe around him, she had his sudden instinct so not to trust him.
She spoke after several moment of awkward silence,"can I help you, all the new recruits are to report in the conference room not barge into my office."
The guy had the audacity to arrogantly smirk at her before answering," well I don't need permission to go anywhere,I desire. I am Jonathan's best friend"
Kathy had to point out to him that he was just an intern and he had to abide by the rules. But Kathy knew she was fighting a losing battle, this guy standing in front of her had a wealth of confidence surrounding him and she didn't know how to handle that.
