The lies

Love, sometimes a shitty word which makes you believe the man you love will give you the entire world, that's the dream and there he is to fulfil all your idiotic dreams, but when the harsh reality sets in and your dream is shattered your belief in love shatters too, thats what happened to Kathy when she reached New york and William told about Celia. She didn't want to trust him but she knew she was kidding herself, Jonathan was deceiving her in some way. But she wanted to give Jonathan a chance to explain, so she decided she would approach him and give him the benefit of the doubt, with that she hailed a cab towards his office.

Once she reached Celia's co., she was intimated by the huge building, she was scared about the truth she would receive, because though she didn't trust William, whatever he said had to have some truth. And she cannot forget about Jonathan's reservation about her and William's date and the fact he just whisked her away to Paris like in fact he was hiding something.

With a determined stride she went towards Jonathan's office not stopping when his secretary told he was busy, without knocking she entered his cabin.

Jonathan knew something was wrong the moment he laid his eyes on Kathy, he was in the middle of a meeting with his clients, but seeing her set shoulders which was determined to get some answers, he asked his clients for a moment of privacy has they stepped out Kathy came in and asked him," how did Celia die, did you kill her answer me with just a yes or no?"

Than Jonathan knew William had done his work, so instead of defending himself, he just asked her," Kathy I know what William said all i need to know is do you believe him, do you really believe I am capable of killing my wife?"

Kathy was not in the mood to argue so instead she posed a question of her own," what should I believe Jonathan, you made you personal mission to keep me away from dating William, I know the crap about dating office employee, but would you put in so much effort to stop all female employees from dating their counterparts just tell me this, I know you are hiding something, answer me with the truth or I will believe when William told me the horrific truth about you killing your wife."

Jonathan couldn't reply instead he stayed mute. When Kathy realised he wasn't going to give her a answer she just turned around and left. Now she had reasons to believe William, if truly Jonathan was innocent why wasn't he defending himself, that itself is suspicious.

She pulled the card from her pocket which had William's address in it she was going to meet him and ask for the evidence which he claimed he had regarding Celia's murder. Jonathan wouldn't give her any answers but at least William would solve her doubt she thought.
