Vampire's mate

Jonathan or William ??

Jonathan was on his way to meet up the HR Vice President of his company, he wanted to make sure William wouldn't get a chance to stir up any trouble in here. He paused in front of Kathy's cabin hearing William's voice, he was supposed to be in the conference room, not in the HR Manager's cabin, and here is the start of the trouble he thought, he listened intently on their conversation. So William did find out about his human mate, he should have known about William's motives. He made everyone believe that there is nobody who would replace his Celia and there is no chance for him to have a second choice mate just to protect Kathy, he knew once he acknowledged that fact and made any move, Kathy would be in danger. So he made it his mission to ignore her, but still his plan backfired on him.

He needed a plan and soon, he just wanted to protect Kathy, he could never have any feelings on her when he was still in love with his beloved vampire mate. Nobody could ever replace his Celia, but Kathy's well being was his responsibility. William was just on his rebound phase, he wanted Kathy to prove a point, but Jonathan would never let that happen.

After making sure William left Kathy's cabin, he knocked and entered, she sat there going through some files, she was beautiful, he had to admit, but it was irrelevant, he had to do something to safeguard her, he went about enquiring about the new recruits before popping his question, "Kathy I was wondering if you are free tonight, how about dinner and I will drop you home."

Kathy was shocked, a man who treated like she was invisible was asking her out, she couldn't comprehend the situation. Inside she was jumping with joy, but she had to know what was going on so she replied, "I am sorry but I have a date with William tonight."

Jonathan pondered for a moment before replying." William, as in our employee, but the company policy clearly states no inter office romance, here you are breaking the rules, being an HR I expected you to know the boundaries, I am certainly disappointed Ms. Jones.

Kathy didn't have a reply to that, he was right being an HR she should know better than violating the company policies. She finally found her voice and assured Jonathan it was a mistake and she would never go out with William.

Jonathan was satisfied with her response, but to make sure he informed her ,"well in that case you are having dinner with me tonight, once you are done with your work meet me downstairs."
