Julie and the Phantoms

Chapter 1

Julie's p.o.v

I was in my room getting ready for school. I wonder how school was going to go today. It has been 2 days since the boys and I played at The Orpheum. Everyone is talking about it online. We also have been getting more followers on my personal and the band's social media. I just hope people don't treat me differently because they think I'm famous or something. Who am I kidding?  People probably won't even care. So far Luke, Reggie and Alex seem to be doing ok health wise. The jolts that they were getting from Caleb's stamp has stopped. This is all crazy. I don't know how the 4 of us hugging got rid of Caleb's stamp. We have no idea what Caleb is capable of. I'm scared that he is going to come back looking for revenge.

Dad: Julie Carlos breakfast is ready!

Julie: Coming!

I got off my bed and started to walk downstairs. I was thinking about everything that I needed to do today. Before I leave for school today I need to go to the studio to talk to the boys. Once I got downstairs I made my way to the dining room. Dad and Carlos were already there.

Dad: Good morning.

Julie: Good morning. 

I sat down and we started eating breakfast.

Dad: So have you figured out what is next for you and your band?

Julie: Well um I am not exactly sure. We haven't talked about what is next for the band. I am also trying to focus on school as well. I have a big math test coming up soon that I need to study for.

Dad: Well that's good that you are focusing more on school.

Julie: Well you were the one that said I need to keep my grades up.

After we finished eating I helped my dad with the dishes. Suddenly I heard the doorbell ring.

Dad: I wonder who that could be.

Julie: I'll get it.

I set down the dish cloth I was holding and walked to the front door. I was shocked to see Nick standing outside holding a bouquet of flowers.

Julie: Hey Nick!

Nick: Hey Julie! I got these for you.

He handed me the bouquet of flowers and kind of just stood there weirdly smiling at me.

Julie: Um thanks. You didn't have to get me flowers!

Nick: It's ok I wanted to. I just wanted to say your performance at the Orpheum was amazing! Your band is going to be huge!

Julie: Thanks Nick.

Nick: Since I am here and we both have to go to school why don't we just walk together?

Julie: Sure. I just have to text Flynn first so she knows I already left. I also have to finish getting ready so you can come in if you want. 

Nick: Ok.

After letting Nick inside we walked to the kitchen where I got a vase for the flowers.

Dad: Julie who was at the door?

Julie: It's Nick. He got me these flowers and we are going to walk to school together.

Dad: Ok.

Julie: I just have to get my backpack and then we can go.

I walked upstairs to my room to get my backpack and phone. After texting Flynn I looked out my window. I forgot that I needed to talk to the boys. I guess that will have to wait until after school. I walked back downstairs and to the kitchen.

Julie: Ok let's go.

Nick and I walked out the front door and made our way to school.
