Chapter 14

Julie's p.o.v

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock. It was 8:30. I was excited. Today we were going to Andi Parker's record label for a meeting. I got up and decided what I was going to wear. Once I had an outfit picked out I got ready and walked downstairs. Everyone was already in the kitchen. Reggie and my dad were cooking breakfast.

Dad: Are you guys excited for today.

Luke: Yeah I can't wait.

Once they were finished cooking breakfast we all sat down and ate together. We were now just waiting for my aunt to get here so she could look after Carlos while we were gone. Once her car pulled into the driveway I told my dad she was here. When she finally got to the door I let her inside.

Dad: Ok get in the car so we can go.

We all ran to the car and got inside. The record label was about half an hour away from my house. Once we arrived we found a parking spot. We all got out of the car looking up at the tall building in front of us.

Julie: I can't believe this is happening.

Alex: I know right!

We walked to the big glass doors that lead into the building. Luke held the door open for everyone so I thanked him. I looked around to see where we needed to go. There was a woman sitting behind a desk so we walked up to her.

Julie: Hi. We are here to see Andi Parker.

Receptionist: Do you have an appointment?

Luke: Yes. It is for today at 10:30.

Receptionist: Oh yes. You guys are Julie and the Phantoms?

Reggie: Yes.

Receptionist: My daughter loves you guys. Anyway just take the elevator up to the top floor to her office.

Dad: Ok thank you.

We walked over to the elevators and pressed the button to go up. Once the doors opened we got inside and went to the top floor. We got out of the elevator and saw a door. It had her name on it so we knew we were at the right place. Reggie knocked on the door and we waited for someone to open it. They told us to follow them. We walked into a confronce room that had a long table and a lot of chairs. 

Worker: You guys just wait here and Andi will be with you in a few minutes.

Julie: Ok thank you.

We sat down and waited for Andi to come in.

Andi: Hello everyone!

She shook all of our hands and then sat down in her seat. A few other people came in the room and did the same. Andi started talking about her plan for us. She wanted us to start off by writing an ep. 

Andi: So I assume you all have your own social media accounts.

Luke: What's that?

Julie: Um we have a few band ones and I have personal ones but the boys don't have phones actually.

Andi: Oh why not?

Alex: Um our parents never allowed us to have phones. Now that we don't live with them anymore we just never had the money to go out and get phones for ourselves.

Andi: Well we can't have that. Don't worry the label will provide the 3 of you with phones.

Reggie: Wow thank you.

Andi: So we have a deadline for the ep. We would like for it to be out within the next year.

Julie: That's definitely possible.

Andi: Once the ep is written we will set up time in a studio for you to record it. Now I just need you guys to sign a whole bunch of paperwork and then we are done.

Luke: Ok.

We spent the next hour going through all of the paper work and signing contacts. When we were done we said goodbye and left.

Dad: I'm hungry do you guys want to get food before we head home?

Alex: Sure!

Before going home we went to chipotle and got lunch. I was already thinking about what we were going to do for the ep. From the music to the design on the cd case. This is going to be so much fun.
