Chapter 15

Alex's p.o.v

I was walking down the halls at school to go the cafeteria for lunch. I went to the stairwell to go downstairs. Nobody was here. At least I thought. I heard someone crying so I went to see who it was.

Alex: Carrie what are you doing here alone?

Carrie: I'm fine just leave me alone please.

I took a seat next to Carrie on the stairs. She said she wanted me to leave but I knew she was just upset.

Alex: Carrie you are clearly not ok. What's wrong?

Carrie: It doesn't matter. It's stupid anyway.

Alex: Just tell me.

Carrie: Fine. After I found out about the stuff my dad did to you guys I was giving him the silent treatment at home. He then got mad and told me he wouldn't pay for my choreographer anymore. As you remember from last time my choreography is not the best. Dirty Candy has a performance soon and we don't have anything planned. My dad also isn't talking to me much anymore.

Alex: Oh. If you wanted I could help you guys with the choreography again?

Carrie: You would? That would be great Alex thanks!

I turned my head and next thing I knew Carrie's lips were on mine. I immediately pulled away.

Carrie: Oh my god. I can't believe I just did that. I'm dating Nick. I am so stupid sorry.

Alex: No it's fine. Just to let you know though. I'm gay.

Carrie: Oh that's cool. I had no idea.

Alex: Yeah I haven't told that many people.

Carrie: Can we just forget this kiss ever happened and still be friends?

Alex: Yeah of course.

Carrie: Ok. So Alex do you have a boyfriend?

Alex: Well I met a guy named Willie. We aren't really anything yet though.

Carrie: Is he human or a ghost?

Alex: He's a ghost.

Carrie: Ok. So we should go eat lunch.

We got up off the stairs and walked to the cafeteria for lunch. We met up with Julie, Luke and Reggie.

Julie: Hey where were you guys?

Alex: Just talking. Anyway I am going to go get my food. I left the table and got in line so I could get lunch. After paying I met back up with my friends again.
