Kristina shouts " Mum , Dad- watch this!". Kristina the human child dives into the pool headfirst. Meanwhile Stephen the monster child just snorts " Watch this!". He jumps into the pool from higher and lands in a awkward position.
Kris and Susie clap. The children play hours and then they have dinner. Tonight, Kris was going to cook something decent.
Everyone sat at the table and waited for Kris. When they finally come out, Susie and the children gasp. There was pizza, chips, hot dogs, THERE WAS EVEN SPAGHETTI!.
The children devoured the food while Kris and Susie laughed. Children were hilarious.
But in the end, the bittersweet moment happened.
Kris was happy.
