It was the following morning that I really started to feel the drug's effects. While being high, I felt like I was floating in a good way. Now I felt like I was six feet under. How does Danny deal with feeling like this all of the time?
I think the more important question is how long has he been a junkie?
Nonetheless, I wasn't overly worried about it. While he may have been doing them for a while, the effects appeared minimal at the moment. When it becomes an issue, or if it ever comes up again, then I'll try to intervene.
But for now I want to see if I can try to find Lily.
I searched up her name on MySpace, the one website that pretty much everyone over the age of thirteen was on at the moment. Even if she wasn't active anymore, I'd probably still be able to find something from her past. Several users came up by the same name, but only one really struck me as a possibility. The username AskingAlesana just seemed to fit.
When I clicked on it, I was slowly brought to a screen with it's own custom design, as most pages on the website were. The background consisted of a dark purple, dark blue, and black nebula with stars that twinkled inside. The song started playing soon after, which was a song that I didn't know. I'd never heard it before. Though the voice sounded like Alesana's vocalist, Shawn Milke. When I read the biography however, I soon learned the title.
Hey guys! Welcome to my page. I do art, though u won't c it XD And I really like the bands Asking Alexandria and Alesana. The song playing is Apology by Alesana.
Her top eight had the profiles of six of her friends, and then Alesana and our profile. I looked further down the profile, finding several images of her either looking edgy, sticking her tongue out, or smiling with her lip quirked up only on the left side. In every image however, she had her blind eye completely covered.
It's a damn shame. If only she knew how beautiful it was. Some of the earliest pictures were of her and Rachel. My God, her drawing was really accurate. Rachel was a short girl with hair died bright red and cut in the typical 'scene' fashion. Her eyes were the same color brown as Lily's, and in this particular image she had her tanned arms wrapped around Lily's neck. They looked so happy together.
It's a shame it could not last.
But there was a tiny part of me that was happy about this. If they hadn't broken up, I'd never be allowed to feel this way about Lily.
But Lily seemed fine to talk about her. And despite the dozens of romantic captions written for Rachel, she showed no signs of having feelings for her any longer.
That makes me feel better about wanting to make her mine.
She had hundreds of connections to multiple accounts of both friends and world-famous scene queens. In addition to this, she was also connected to all of Alesana's songs, and all of our songs too. She had but one playlist, which was called 'Th3 B3st Stuff 1n th3 W0r1d.' It consisted of four songs, which where Alesana's Apology and Tilting the Hourglass, and A Prophecy and A Candlelit Dinner with Inamorta. And that was pretty much it.
I quickly connected with her, and then closed the computer lid. "What were you doing?" James asked me, looking up from whatever he was doing across from me.
"Just....checking something," I said as innocently as I possibly could.
"Did you find her MySpace?" He asked knowingly.
I sighed and nodded. "You see right through me."
He shrugged. "You're pretty obvious. It's like wearing your heart on your sleeve. You're not even together and she's changing you." He smirked. "Do you remember how afraid of her you used to be?"
"It was a creepy fan letter given in a creepy town. How did you expect me to react?" I looked over my shoulder. "I still feel like I'm being watched sometimes."
"Maybe you are," Sam said, jumping up from behind my chair. the fact that I jumped a little bit could not be hidden, he really did scare me a little.
"You guys are having too much fun doing that," I complained, slumping down in my chair.
"We're just getting started," James replied, smiling devilishly.

FanfictionDear Ben, It is to you that I'm writing this letter. I must say, your debut album is a work of art. I would give the rest of the band credit, but I'd rather write to you. Give them my regards. I don't know who I am anymore. Some people tell me I'm a...
